Great place with great people. I was in a trouble and they helped me. It is few years back, So I feel bad to write this only now, but THANK YOU again for your help! Can only recommend!!! Also nice, cute, Safe, clean hotel.

First of all - prepare to find the hotel as it is not too easy to find it. The hotel is OK. For the price they offer, you have everything. We visited Sapa in January, so the days were warm, but nights quite cold. So the room was very cold. Once you are ready for that - you will be happy with the stay. The view from the window - amazing. Our room was on the 1st floor - please note the hotel is on the hill.

Great location away from the hustle and bustle of the crowded main areas.  Clean and tidy room with a pleasant and very helpful owner/manager with good English.  I had a large room with balcony facing the town and valley with great views, huge bed and large typical bathroom with no shower curtain or door but bonus of a western style flushing toilet!!  Rooms on the ground floor might be more noisy than those on upper floors!  Breakfast not so great, but included for the grand total of US$15/day - great value.

If you are a budget traveller. This is it. We got the best price for all our tours booked through the owner. I still remember that night on our return journey from Mt  Fansipan, after 14 hrs of exhausting trekking, there he was outside  of  his hotel, appearing before us when our van arrived to check all the 4 of us if we were alright. Talking about personal touch.

Honest and Reliable Hotel Owner

I just don't have an idea, why people are trying to run a business when the don't know how to do it...
Family who run this "hotel" doesn't speak English very well. 
The whole building was dark as no lights were used, just those necessary on stairs. Our room was cold, wet and a bit threadbare. The bathroom (toilet included as usual in Asia) was sort of livable, but cold and without ventilation if you don't count a small window. 
We staid there for two nights wishing to book just one ;-) 
Breakfast was again sort of nice, but the young daughter did not know anything about serving the meal. She was bringing each breakfast separately and one part after another. Fist thee/coffee, then bread, then eggs....  

Good is the location. Even it is a bit far from the main street, i is very close to the infocentrum and also thanks to this location it is quiet and you can at least sleep without hearing that terrible moped noise.

JUST DO NOT BOOK VIA AGODA.COM AS DURING OUR STAY IN ASIA THEY CHARGED US 7-10 USD PER NIGHT IN AVERAGE. CRAZY!!! AS THEN YOU COULD BE SURPRISED WHY IS THE ACCOMMODATION "SO EXPENSIVE" ALTHOUGH IT IS NOT...
