How many would give you a lift down to the big market where foreign brands of liquor can be purchased for a fraction of the price of the local tourist outlets? How many would offer you all kinds of advice on every manner of activity, and then make arrangement for you to get it a LOCAL prices? How many would front you some cash on the way out of town, and let you pay it back when you returned? Such is the nature of Mr. Hill (I'm sure I'm misspelling his name, but that's the way it comes out in English - forgive me) who not only became a friend, but regaled us with his award-winning photography during out stay. No request was too much for him and his staff. The room was simple but had an amazing balcony - the staff brought in extra chairs (and even an extra business desk). Located on a quiet side street (believe me, you will never be sorry you chose this location) but steps from all the activity, The Legend is just about the best deal, Dong for Dong, that a person could find. Comfy beds, extra large pillows, and an assortment of home-made rice wine that will leave your head spinning. A hidden gem. THANK YOU!
