Hoang Vu Bien Ho Hotel

We stayed here for 1 night whilst biking through vietnam. They upgraded us to a VIP room for free and it was one of the nicest places we stayed at the whole trip. The woman at the desk was very kind and attentive and helped us with everything we needed, would definitely stay again!

Great service

- We rode our motorbikes all day so we decided to choose the hotel located on the main road for convenient for travel. Located at 1035 Pham Van Dong, Yen The Ward, Pleiku City. Hoang Vu Bien Ho is probably the good choice for our trip.  I looked at the photos from the websites and found this hotel quite decent and decided to book it without knowing that it was over 7 km from the city center. Our choice seems to be wrong.
- We arrived at the hotel at 19:00. Hotel 2 * however up to 9 floors. Modern design with private parking area for motorbikes and cars. Many services: conference room, restaurant, spa (2 separate floors) karaoke and cafe on the terrace, AMAZING! I was especially impressed by the unique and sophisticated conch in the lobby (marble lined floors). Looks very chic.
- Disaster started when we entered: the check in process was really bad experience. We are hold a lot of stuff (no one is support us) but must wait for the receptionist to check if I have a reservation or not (although I provided the ID card and confirmed the reservation by phone for him that before). They must have to check the reservation each day to prepare the check in process properly, do not have to wait until the customer check in and look for it in a hurry (although we made reservations for over 1 week before), wasting time, unprofessional.
- More than 10 minutes after waiting, they confirm that I have a reservation and let me in. However, nobody helped us with luggage or took us to the room (everything must be self-sufficient). When we use the elevator to enter the room: the elevator is too noisy and startled when moving (feeling unsafe).
- Just enter the room, we feel damp in the room. Dirty walls with disgusting stains. In the bathroom, the cover of sewer is black because of the dirt. I felt terrible and wanted to change the hotel immediately but my friend convinced me that we only stayed one night.
- After went the city center (more than 7 km) for dinner. We returned to the room after a tired day. As I was sleep for a few minutes (around midnight), my friend and I were startled by the loud singing from the karaoke floor. And it lasted until almost 2am.
- It was a horrible night.
- Next morning. It rained. We went to the restaurant. Limited breakfast options (even fried eggs, jams, sandwiches or breads are not available), and we have to order special local food "Phở Khô". Taste is acceptable.
- Be careful when choosing this place is your stop in Pleiku.
