Peppercorn Beach

The perfect spot for a quiet beach holiday for a couple. My husband and I stayed for three nights. First thing, our host “May”, was so welcoming and friendly and was just so lovely from word go. Sat us down in reception and ran through some things about the resort and the area and it was so helpful. She was able to get us into our room straight away even though we arrived four hours prior to check in and also gave us breakfast for that same morning (which wasn’t included in the booking). She walked us to our villa, the villa was stunning! *side note: apparently it’s not common knowledge that May is an amazing singer. We heard her singing a few times, like when she was preparing the villa next door and when she was preparing the restaurant. Her voice is amazing. At first we thought it was a recorded singing. The guy “Pierre” who I’ll refer to later, didn’t know she was a singer and he’d been there for a couple of years. Anyway, keep your ears ready, I think she’d probably be embarrassed to read this but her voice was angelic. The villa itself, clean AF! Fantastic air con that you could freeze the leg off a chair with if you wanted to - was perfect, no going to sleep feeling uncomfortable or hot. The bed was comfy. Accidentally waking up to the most beautiful sunrise! The food at the restaurant was lovely, drinks were awesome. Two pools, one chlorine and one saltwater! There was also a French tour guide “Pierre” who didn’t realise worked there but overheard a conversation and we booked him to boat us to Starfish Beach (I think that’s what it’s called) the next day. I’ve actually just recommended this place to friends who are visiting PQ in a few months. One thing to remember, as with any place in Vietnam, bring your mosquito repellent! They mightn’t be as bad here as the mainland but they’re here. I do need to also reiterate, May! Thank you so much for making us feel so at home, so welcome. You’re amazing and I hope that if you don’t own the place then whoever does knows and appreciates you!
