We loved our stay at Sunshine.The owners are very welcoming and helpful, our room was spotless and very comfortable, so peaceful on the evenings, the location is perfect, just a 2 minute walk to the beach, plenty of restaurants around. Highly recommended, and such great value.

Bungalows In beautiful grounds

Sunshine bungalows are tucked away off the main street which was a little more authentic than the main road with nice bars & restaurants, Pizza Oi was a good choice, Rabbit Hole Irish bar for drinks and on the main rd Hardys fresh bakery. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. Flip flops, fan, air con & laundry service were provided, if you are on a Strict budget there are cheaper laundry services provided up the road ( half the price)
We were in Bungalow 3 which lead down through a lovely path of plants which were well maintained and colourful, there was also a gate at the bottom that gave you quicker beach access about a 3 min walk. As there was nowhere to sunbathe we decided to use Blue Beach bar club which was a good choice and close by it was only 150,000 for all day access with sunbeds, umbrella, towels & a free drink and 50% off happy hours. 
The showers are not great in the bungalow so one day we decided to take advantage & shower also at Blue Beach club. Taxi from the airport is about 126,000. Some gym equipment is available in reception if you don't mind working out on show. Toiletries & Small hairdryer provided but I didn't use it to know how good it was!

Nice cheap clean stay

They expend quite a degree of effort encouraging people to eat. Despite this they are unable to provide an adequate level of service, I waited almost an hour for my main course, which bizarrely, had first arrived with my entree. The service is slow and chaotic, they try hard but it is clearly beyond them.

Ordinary food, very ordinary service

I sometimes wonder how fellow travellers / reviewers can get it so horribly, horribly wrong. Miserable, unhappy pedants perhaps ? Who in their right mind would rate this any less than five stars is nothing more than a sybarite a hedonist who should just go and stay at five star, beachfront, impersonal resorts. This lovely, family run, well located and incredibly friendly place was a revelation. The most obliging staff I've recently encountered in VN and yet just a stones throw from the main 'drag' with all it's requisite bars and restauarants. Despite this still tucked away and wonderfully quiet of an evening. A mere two minute walk down to the beach where the ultimate relaxation awaits. Feet in the sand, icy cold beers and good food. This lovely place is certainly worth seeking out !

Simply Gorgeous

The great reviews are well deserved.  The hosts are very friendly and helpful with any requests for taxi (including airport pickup arranged in advance), motorbike rental and restaurant recommendations.  The bungalows are quiet, very clean and only minutes from the beach.  The garden is small but very attractive and well kept, with thoughtful touches like a rinse to clear the sand off your feet.   The hosts also run a small convenience store (mostly drinks) attached and there is also a small (free) book exchange, with English titles.   There are many good restaurants close by and an excellent, small massage studio right across the street (also recommended!).

You don’t see many places with an average rating of 5 but this one deserves it. The bungalows are lovely and the location is perfect. The best thing about it is the staff and owners. The are so kind and friendly and helpful. One of the best places I have stayed in my years of travel in SE Asia. 

Perfect!

One of the most welcoming places to stay. The family help with translation, arranging taxis and any other assistance you need. Rooms are clean  and spacious. We visited in November and if the sun became too much on the beautiful sandy beach we made use of the   patio table and chairs that is outside each bungalow. Beach is minutes away. The garden surrounding the bungalows is well kept. We will definitely be returning to  Sunshine bungalow.

Quiet but minutes from beautiful sandy beach

This clean simple place is run by a nice hardworking family of mother father and daughter who are very eager to help out. Very spacious room. The hotel is very close to the beach (3-minute walk). Note that the entrance is hard for taxis to find.

The Sunshine bungalow has good decor with flower and trees. As its name, you can enjoy the sunshine in the garden that makes you feel so fresh. The location is good, 5 minutes walking to the beach. The owners are very helpful. the convenient store right outside is very good, you have everything and dont have to go far away. Worth to stay!

Nice house to stay in beautiful island

I was very satisfied with the quality and price. The room was comfortable and close to the beach, but the friendly and attentive service was what made the biggest impression. I would definitely recommend it for anyone wanting to stay on Long Beach.
