We stayed in the capsules here with a group of high school students. They really enjoyed the experience. 5 minutes walk to the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good. Would definitely stay again; recommended.

Capsules recommended

The room was spacious but furnitures were old. Too many doors and window. Have balcony but covered by the blue glass. The room has a lots mosquito. The staff at reception were friendly, location is convenient because near Cho Dam.

Good hotel

The short of it is that the only good thing I can enthuse about this hotel, is that it is cheap. It has many shortfalls, and will only recommend this to the most desperate of budget travellers.

We stayed on the 8th floor, and we begin with the air-con which has a non-working remote control. Flipping on the wall switch automatically turns on the air-con which was stuck on cool-mode at 19°C, which is freezing for us. The remote had batteries, but no amount of button pressing would change anything. We ended up just opening the windows and turning off the air-con.

Then there is the bed, which creaks and groans at the slightest of movements. Rolling to change positions made sounds like we were rolling a whale across or something.

The shower was somewhat okay. There was hot water, but the water pressure was depressingly low, and the tap handle actually came off when we turned to the max.

Finally, we come to the issue that bugged us the most. The noise pollution. There seemed to a pump room or something next to our room's toilet, because every so often, there would be a loud clank like someone slamming down a toilet lid, followed by water flow sounds. Whether it is faulty plumbing causing water hammers or not, it was aggravating to hear as you try to sleep. The walls are also so thin that you can hear conversations from the adjacent room, which is mortifying for people who want privacy.

I sincerely hope the hotel ramps up their maintenance, because it is a nice looking hotel in a good location.

Poor Maintenance, Non-existent Soundproofing

We stayed here for 5 nights and we liked it very much. Only 15 min walk from the main train station,  and it's  very close to the quiet side of the beach where you can have a nice lie in and a good swim. Also very close to one of the big markets if you're looking for a bargain buy.  A bit of a walk from the main busy centre but lots to see on the way, including a little night market.
Room was clean and very spacious and the air conditioning working very well.
Hotel host is very polite and easy to communicate with and made sure our stay was great, accommodating all our requests.
