My traveling companion and I took two rooms at this rather simple pleasant enough guest house. The operator, known simply as Madame, is a charmingly eccentric retired teacher who did her best to make us feel welcome. The fishing village where the place is situated has a charming eccentricity of its own. It's very off-piste and could be an acquired taste for some. Food preparation and service seems to be a participatory experience. There is a seemingly improvised restaurant just down the beachfront road from Madame's that should not be underestimated. We still think back fondly to the quality of the food we were served there. If you're seeking an unforgettable, off the beaten track bit of adventure, this spot will not disappoint. Pack a big smile and wear it. It works wonders.
