SPOT ON 723 Hai Dang Homestay

We stayed 2 nights at Hai Dang Homestay. Our room and the bathroom were clean. There was hot water and the water pressure was great! The wifi didn't work very well from our room and we had to stay in the lounge on the same floor to enjoy it. The hotel is not located near the Old Town but there is only a 15 min walk -that we enjoyed- to reach the center. We had a nice free breakfast: eggs, baguette, banana and coffee in the terrace at the back of the house and in front of the river. The family was nice - even though they would sometimes have a look in our room without asking for a permission and while we are in it - but the children were really loud. It was a bit difficult to communicate as only one person spoke English but we enjoyed our stay. FYI we booked the night on Agoda and paid directly. The money was taken from our bank account but when we arrived, the receptionist asked for our card details so that she could take the money from Agoda. She said she didn't get anything from them yet. But this resulted in a second withdrawal from our bank. We told her what happened and she kindly said she would deal with it. In the end we stayed one more night and she just had to keep the extra money she charged us the day before.
