Moc Vien Homestay

My boyfriend and I had a wonder experience at the Moc Vien Homestay. With a lovely hostess, who makes you breakfast each morning at a time that suits you, beautiful rooms, and even bikes to rent, you can't go wrong. We had a really warm welcome and a really enjoyable stay. The homestay is a little walk to the Old Town, but it is only about 10 minutes, and means that you don't have to cycle through the busy busy roads to get to the gorgeous An Bang beach. 

This was one of the best places we stayed in SE Asia. The family was extremely friendly and went out of their way to make you feel at home. Many other reviews describe the great things at this Homestay so I won't repeat those (e.g. the great massive king sized bed!), But I thought I would add a couple notes I haven't seen elsewhere. First - The garden is amazing. Orchids and bonsai trees everywhere and such an elaborate display I could sit in the courtyard and drink coffee all day. Second - the ladies of the house took my girlfriend and I out to dinner at a local place in honor of International Womens Day. Amazing, they just told us to be home by dinner time and they had a cab ready to take us downtown. It was definitely like being a friend of the family and not a guest. Can't recommend this highly enough.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely breakfasts, bikes available to take to town and the staff are lovely and helpful. Our bedroom had a super kingsize bed - very luxurious.
There's also paddy fields just up the road, and an easy bike ride to An Bang beach.

Stayed there for 4 nights. A small homestay with only a few rooms. Very nice family. Spacious room with the biggest bed i have ever seen. Clean bathroom with a good shower. 
Breakfest was good, as long as you order either omelet or noodels (try the local variation - it's good).
Located about 20 minutes walk from the center of Hoi An, towards the beach.
Bike and motorcycle rental available at a good price.
VERY GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY

This little Homestay was clean and well located for us to easily reach Old Town and local restaurants and coffee shops. Staff was delightful, but sometimes it was difficult for them to understand our English., Had our laundry done before we left; such a good job!

It was great staying with this lovely family. They organised airport transfers, hired bicycles to us, gave us a lot of information and provided lovely breakfasts. The accommodation was clean and made up daily. The family was cheery and friendly. Thank you for a lovely stay.
