Madam Cuc 64

When i went to HCM city, I stayed  at this hotel one night. The hotel just liked guest's house but everythings were comfortable. the staff very friendly. I thought I was at home....Good location in HoChiminh city.

Mme Cuc 64 is very central to the backpacker area of Saigon.

The rooms are clean although some are very small (interior rooms between front and rear).

The staff are friendly and cheerful; plus a light breakfast and dinner are available at no extra charge.

There is no lift but luggage is transferred by hoist. You must use the stairs.

Madame Cuc's Hotel 64 was great for me - a solo traveller at the time. Room was simple, clean, air conditioning, mini bar and fridge. The bathroom wasnt the greatest but was spacious enough and clean. I was up many floors, they tied my backpack to a rope and pulled it up for me.
The staff was very helpful, kind and full of useful information. Easy to book different tours there as well.

Stayed here with a few friends and would recommend to anybody. The rooms were clean, linen changed everyday day, the wifi was really good and rates were cheap. The staff were extremely friendly and tried to help in any way. It is a really good central location in Saigon so you don't have far to walk to find a bar.

Good budget hotel

Great little hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

Mme Cuc is very friendly

My wife and I got into H.C.C. at about 02:30 hours, we were pick up by Madame cuc's taxi.

When we got to the hotel we signed in and were then met with our first surprise, they have a pulley system for getting your luggage to the top floor, however the don't use between 22:00 and 08:00 hours, to noisy for the guests who are there and sleeping, so we had to haul,our luggage up 5 flights, and it wasn't light, I had to make two trips aghhhh. :-(

So we got upstairs and were some what settled when we heard a party going on out our window and across the street at a night club, and they were all having a great time, which was fun in a way, eventually got to sleep for a few hours, then set out to explore Saigon in the morning.

So all in all not upscale but not a dump either, more like a decent hostel, for the budget minded, you might ask for a room on either end of the building because you get a larger room, ours was in the middle of the building.
