Minh Khang Hotel

As a Visiting Professor at a local university, I come to visit Saigon and I am put up in this hotel. On three different occasions (in 2015, 2017 and 2018) I have now spent nearly two months in this hotel and it is my hotel of choice in Saigon/Ho Chi Minh City. Small and friendly, and located very conveniently in District 3 close to the city centre, shopping malls, tourist attractions and parks. The overall service is excellent and the staff are extremely friendly, outstandingly professional and always courteous in their demeanour and approach. Their communications skills in English are excellent. I have seen the same level of work ethic and eagerness to help in all staff from the Manager to the security staff. The rooms are very clean and spacious; the amenities are generous and always topped up, room service is prompt and friendly, wifi is fast and reliable. A security safe/locker would be a good feature to have. The restaurant serves a wide range of choices and the included breakfast has many options to choose from - both local and international. The ca phe sua da (iced milk coffee) is particularly good. On one occasion, I borrowed money from the front desk to pay for a taxicab when I ran out. On other occasions, the hotel staff promptly arranged to get me a spare helmet or an umbrella when I needed one. In particular, I would like to thank the FO Team, including Mrs Ha Chau (the Manager), Ms Bao Tran, Ms Thuy Trang, Ms Ngoc Tuyet and Mr Minh Triet for always being there for me. Throughout my visits, I have felt like home and the hotel has truly been my family away from home. I am appreciative of the kind and generous support extended to me from the very professional hotel staff. I will always choose this hotel in Saigon.
