Calmette Hotel

stayed here for three nights,from 29 Nov to 1 Dec this year.it is the third hotel i stayed during my trip to HCM city .the room i stayed can see the famous Bitexco Financial Tower, although it was blocked by another high building,still a nice view.especially in the morning,when you wake up,you will see that iconic buliding, you will feel better. the room is quite big,it has a TV,a fridge, there is also a sitting place with sofa. the price room is affordable, so it is great value for money. bathroom is clean, they provide toiletries and free mineral water.but on the third day,cuz i didnt ask for room service,so no one replace new bottled water,not sure if they provide one time only. i didn’t buy breakfast when i booked the room,also not sure if they have breakfast or not,cuz i see the breakfast menu in the room,but didnt see restaurant at the hotel. maybe they have breakfast before the pandemic.anyway, the hotel closed to Ben thanh market ,so many eateries around the hotel, not a big issue. staffs at the counter is helpful and friendly, a female staff good at speaking English,i did laundry with the help of her,and the price is affordable.there is another male staff,he is also helpful, though he cant speak good English,still do his best to serve me,like when i checked out, he helped me to take my heavy luggages out of the hotel, many thanks for him. staying at Calmette hotel is calm and quiet. highly recommended!
