Apple Homestay is a great place to stay if you are looking for somewhere cheap and comfortable. The rooms were spacious and clean with air conditioning and a TV. Great value for money and Johnny and his family are so friendly and helpful. We stayed a total of 5 nights with a few trips in between. Johnny also organised our Halong Bay tour for us which was very good and he was very helpful with everything. His English is amazing and he is willing to go out of his way to help you with anything you need. It is in a good location, very close to the lake. We felt very comfortable there and couldn't recommend it more highly for anyone travelling on a budget.
