I love Cat Ba so much I’ve been a few times. This hotel is owned by a lovely family. Rooms are spacious and hygienic, beds are very comfortable and clean. Our bathroom light bulb burned out the 2nd night of our stay and they fixed it before we even got round to telling them about it. Laundry, beverages, and breakfast are all cheap and well worth it. I was dubious because it’s so cheap but no gimmicks here. Just honest people. Which is why I felt so compelled to write a review. I particularly like that the receptionist isn’t too pushy with all the tours he offers. But I wish he would have said something because we took a boat cruise for 500k rather than the 300k tour they offered for a similar package. And bike rentals were only 80k! Can’t vouch for the quality of these things though we didn’t get a chance to try them out. Anyways if you do stay here take a look at their bulletin board in reception because they offer loads of tours.
