The Anam Cam Ranh

We decided to book Anam again as this hotel was always our safest option for a relaxing and luxurious experience when visiting Nha Trang. A very nice touch was that many staff members from last year remembered us and were happy to chat where possible. A massive shoutout to Nghia as he made an effort to give us a tour of the animal and plant farms (surprisingly both were large and very insightful). Additionally, both managers made an effort to welcome us throughout the check-in and Check-out process. One even went so far as to ensure we could sit in the hotel's version of the executive lounge to enjoy air conditioning while waiting for our taxi to the airport. The beach and its saltwater pool were major highlights, as was the ability to freely rent life jackets and inflatables to swim. We also tried the yoga this time, and it's definitely worth waking up early for its 6am slot. Our biggest criticism from last year was the lack of food variety, which has definitely improved this year. The hotel now offers a buffet and fine dining options on selected days. Be careful, as some of the restaurants are closed on certain dates to accommodate the new options. The hotel is located in the resort area of Cam Ranh, which is very close to the airport (15 minutes), but some distance from the city and Vinwonders (over 30 minutes). If you're after a city break, this hotel might not be ideal for you. Additionally, the prices for services and food are comparable to those in Europe. It remains a top choice for any visit, even with all the new developments around the hotel. Tripadvisor is spot on, given this hotel's consistent awards for quality. Side note (not the hotel's fault): The Anam is a hotspot for social media content (mainly due to its beauty), resulting in many photography opportunities across the resort.
