We had a great stay at the Grand Mercure in Da Nang, and our entire experience was amazing. Most of all, we were impressed with the lounge. It is a fairly big area, very comfortable, with a very nice a la carte breakfast and good canape options in the evening, and especially great and extensive offering in terms of drinks (really appreciated the available bourbon), which is much better than other Accor properties, both in Da Nang and around Vietnam. Staff is doing an amazing job there as well, and Ngan, Quynh, Nguyen (both the male and female staff member), Hong, Ngoc, Anh and others are extremely attentive. Staff is a highlight of the hotel in general (such as Thanh during check in), with everyone being very friendly and kind, such as the doormen, or during our buffet dinner in the restaurant. Other than that, the rooms are clean with a nice view, the gym is fairly well-equipped and the location is central enough to quickly get around Da Nang. With good value for money, this really is a great choice, and we will certainly be back.
