13 reviewsI stayed here for a week. My overall experience was pleasant. Location was great since for most of the tours, they were able to pick me up from the hotel. Staff were friendly. Room itself was comfortable. They didn’t have a safe but they had complimentary water bottles everyday along with a bottle of Coke and Fanta. Bed was comfortable for me. TV didn’t have live channels but you can watch YouTube. I tried both the breakfast Buffett as well as boxed one since I had to leave before 8am some days and both were great. There is a coffee shop right next to the hotel and few good restaurants in walking distance. There is a bank next to the hotel as well where you can exchange currency. For US based people, it seems like any large amounts over $100 gets declined due to some US restrictions. I called Chase and they didn’t even see the transaction. It was getting blocked within Uzbek itself. So I had to use cash for partial payments even though the hotel was willing to submit multiple payments using card. They were very accommodating. Other than this one snafu, everything went well. I definitely would stay here again.
