Garden House Mini Hotel

We arrived at the Navoi Train Station at 10pm and took a shared taxi to the hotel. The hotel is located to the east of the town center near to the Umid Stadium. The entrance to the hotel was a little difficult to find, as although the name on the Hotel states "Garden House Hotel", there are actually two hotels operating in the same building. The more upscale Garden Plaza Hotel has an entrance to the left of the building whilst the newly named "Garden House Mini Hotel" has an entrance to the right. We walked through the wrong entrance, but the clerk directed us through the Plaza Hotel corridors to the front desk of the Mini Hotel. Note that it would have been easier to use the entrance to the right, above which the word "Hotel" was displayed in bold red letters. The mini hotel rooms are on the upper floors, and our room was quiet but didn't have a view. The only view of the city that we had was seen when taking the glass fronted elevator between floors. The room was clean and spacious and the wifi worked well. Breakfast was included in the room rate, and we were able to use the buffet area downstairs which is located a short walk from the reception area. Each floor has a lobby area where guests can relax, and the area on our floor had a small f&b section, where we bought snacks as it was too late for dinner. We had a comfortable stay here, but be warned that Navoi caters to corporate clients due to the manufacturing industries in the town, so the rates are higher than the other cities which receive tourists regularly. We stayed in Navoi, as we had planned a day trip to Nurata, and preferred to be close to the bus station to get an early start. You will have to walk for 15 minutes to get to the nearest attractions, but we suggest the central bazaar on nearby Amir Timur Street, and if you continue walking west on the same street, the large Navoi Park, with many activities, will be seen. Buses and taxis can be easily taken near to the market area, and seemingly are available at all hours.
