27 reviewsMy wife and I spent 1 night with a Booking.com confirmed reservation.. We took the 12:15 PM COPAY Bus(125Ap each) from Colon, arriving at Paysandu Bus Terminal at 1:30 PM. It's part of a new mall where we changed money, visited the supermarket, and asked the tourist information attendant to call our Hotel Plaza for its free transfer, 1 km west. 15 minutes later we entered this older hotel with a nice receptionist who spoke good hotel English. After copying our passports she asked a housekeeper to show us to our room, #255 in the back. The small wood floored room has a comfortable double with nightstands, shelved closet, refer, table and chair, window opening to a side street, and nice tiled bathroom with stall shower. We had good secure WIFI, and a nice 6:30AM buffet breakfast; OJ, yoghurt, cereal fresh fruit, fruit salad, and medialunas and cakes. We walked 1 block north to the main plaza and its Basilica, 1 block south to the Historical Museum, and 2 km west to see Palacio Rizzo. In the morning, we took the free transfer(very professional) to the bus terminal. This convenient hotel is well located for restaurants, shopping, and is a very good value.
