The Laguada Hostal is an economic youth hostel is very well located. The breakfast is right! The staff is welcoming and available! It is a pity that cleanliness and hygiene leave us wanting: no bath was taken during the 3 days of our stay (full of sand in the room) and the Shower/WC concept is not the most hygienic! Not very pleasant to shower after someone who went to the toilet and vice versa!

It's an economical hostel, but it's a terrible lack of hygiene and cleanliness!

We had reservations for three days and the first night we left. The hostel is horrible, super dirty and extremely precarious. Everything is poorly constructed. The bathrooms are the most uncomfortable thing I've ever tried and they're mixed up. An asco! If we flood the room, we've got all our bags wet and nobody even apologized for it. Water comes out of the ceilings and the owners didn't do anything about it. The owners are a few merchants. No spending on this mess, I'll tell you. And you'll thank me!

The house of terror.

They are great hosts. Always on the lookout for your stay to be really pleasant, relaxing, enjoying and having a good time. They take you up and down to the terminal, until you need to get a pass. The outdoor chair, is the worst you'll ever sleep in! Ajajajaja El café es super rico! The pies and pizzas that sell are also great, they also sell soda, beer and water at the same price as the supermarket! These are 4 blocks from the beach of La Viuda These are 6-7 blocks from the center and the beach of the fishermen's saddles?

My family is from Uruguay.

To stay with friends or family, the staff is very friendly and fun, hostel type rustic near the center, quiet area, there are supermarkets or restaurants nearby, you can also eat or drink something inside the hostel. No accepting cards, only Uruguayan or dollars.

The hostel met our expectations, the atmosphere was very entertaining, the owners attentive and hospitalieros. could improve the bathrooms since they are shared and quite small. everything else very well!!!!

I loved the tranquility of the place and the attention of Ana, who took care that we were well at all times.It is a little further away from the center, but the walk is very pleasant and quick, about 10 minutes.

Laguada Hostel is so far the worth hostel I have ever stayed at. For around 14 dollars per person, we had a dorm room where the beds were squeaky and the bedsheets were full of holes. 
The bathrooms had no toilet paper and the sinks were very dirty. Not to mention that the hot water was limited to certain hours and the showers were basically on top of the toilet seats. The infrastructure of the kitchen is pretty rudimentary and the breakfast (included in the price) is very simple - coffee, a piece of bread and butter. On top of all that, the hostel is not even that close to the beach or the main area of the village. 

For the same price or a little bit more, you can get a better place. 
Be aware that most of the places at the village don’t accept card payments.
