We were driving without a plan...it was getting late and we came across this place.  We turned in and lucked out..they had a room!  The owners were very friendly and helpful with places to see and were attentive to our needs.  we decided to book for another night to make sure we had a place to stay...good thing we did, cuz when we returned at the end of the day all rooms were booked!  Its not the Hilton but it was clean and cute.  We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

I stayed here during the month of January 2014. I lkike the idea that it was a secluded qiuiet location and everything. Loved that it even had wi-fi, even though sometimes it went out, No big deal. Just flip on the cable tv. Although that was limited to only a few channels. No real complaints though as I don't really watch much TV. But the staff were kind and curteous and very helpful to me. If I needed a place like this again, I would come back here.

We were looking for a place to stay while our home was veihg remolded. These people were friendly and worked with us on the price. While the rooms are dated, the place is very clean! Would stay again if we needed too! Great value! The owners are very kind and very hospitable! No pool onsite, however for 2.00 you can use the community pool and there are tons of restaurants!

friendly, honest and welcoming!

Clean , quiet and still close to food, gas station and scenery!

We stayed here after a night of celebration in Platteville with no rooms available in Platteville and our friends live in Lancaster. They recommended this place and it served its purpose. The place was probably as clean as a 60 year old motel can get with a limited work staff. The room next to us lived a women with a dog and knick-nacks in the window, which was a little surprising. There may be permanent residents living here. I have no idea what we were charged for the room and when we booked it they only took our first name; no credit card holding. In summary, this place served its purpose. I won't be boasting of staying here and I won't reminisce about having to get down on my knees and try to force the drain in the tub to work. The header photo looks nothing like the two bed motel room we stayed in.

They're Trying...

The man at desk was very polite. The grounds are well kept. The room (#27) was very clean and bed comfortable. The advertised WiFi did not work in the room and when I called the front desk was told there was nothing "he" could do as his often did not work also. Luckily, there is a McDonald's next door... The room door knob is worn out and almost impossible to lock when leaving room. I had to go to Walmart in another town to purchase three-way extension cords to be able to plug in my phone charger and CPAP machine as I could only find two electric outlets working in the entire room. When I pay $158.00 for only one person for two nights in a very small, country motel I expected much better facilities. If I visit Lancaster, Wisconsin again I will stay in Plattesville (about 15 miles away) where there are many more motels with better prices and facilities.
