Cleanest place we’ve ever stayed!  Friendly staff and great breakfast.

Wonderful stay. Very relaxing and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We loved the small town and our stay. The bed was very comfortable and breakfast was great! Would highly recommend.

The rooms were very clean and the layout of the rooms were fantastic. The bathroom is huge. The beds were extremely comfortable. It was quiet and the staff was very friendly. No complaints.

I like staying here when I visit family in Arcadia. Very cozy and nice.

This is a cute little place to stay and became our base camp for a hiking weekend in the area. There were many things to be impressed by. Starting with the immediate hot and or cold water from the shower or tap. There was no wait time and that was fantastic! The cold water was ice cold and the taste was fantastic! Another aspect of the room that I really liked was the bed and pillows. The bed was very comfortable and there were a selection of pillows that made sleep possible. One thing I will say about room 201 is that it needs a king size bed! Having a jetted tub and then to have to go into a queen size bed situation just wasn’t luxurious. The room could definitely handle a king. A couple of things I did not appreciate was the inch size gap below the door. I don’t know if that was to aid in the ventilation from the tub, but there needs to be something else designed if this is the case. Any type of noise from our room most definitely reached all our friends and neighbors in the hall and down the stairs. I could’ve easily slid a Culver’s butter burger under that door and an order of fries with no problem! The curtains had to be held together with one of the clip hangers to keep the light out. I don’t know what I was worried about, though… The glow from the microwave and numerous other items throughout the room made me super happy I had remembered to bring my sleep mask! Over all, this was a very nice place!

Nice hotel - the booking page on Expedia had a photo of Winona State University as the first photo - turns out the hotel is in Arcadia, 30 minutes away (it is a beautiful drive!). I also thought it would have a little more personality, but it was like a mid hotel chain hotel. The pillows were lumpy. The lights from the parking lot are super bright, and the blackout curtains didn't block all the light.Nice shower, though!

Not where I thought it was

We stayed overnight in a family friendly environment. The check-in process was handled by a very friendly manager. We even were able to add an additional room that we had not booked on-line. She offered cost-saving measure when booking there. The facilities were far beyond what to expect in a town of this size and can be attributed to the booking they receive from the town's major industry, Ashley Furniture Corp. Will definitely stay there again when in town. She also gave us advice on tourist attractions to see in the area.

Welcoming Atmosphere

My husband and I couldn’t find an affordable place to stay in La Crosse, so we decided to stay in Arcadia which is 40 minutes away, we didn’t mind. The place was comfy. There wasn’t much breakfast selection. It was a nice place, but I couldn’t come back, nothing was wrong, and will recommend it to friends and family for a stay if they need it.

It was quick and convenient to check in to the hotel. It was late at night, but it was fast, and we could get into the hotel room to rest quickly, which was nice. Everything was clean and pretty comfy. It seemed pretty quiet at the hotel, which was nice! Not too far away from Winona, which has lots to explore! Overall was a perfect place for our stay and weekend away! :)

Fabulous! Clean, quiet. easy to find, friendly staff, codes for doors instead of keys. No place in town delivers food so we had to go out in the rain on motorcycles to have dinner. Air worked well. Shower was hot qnd had a nice shower head. Beds were comfy. Not a single thing to complain about here! Will definitely return!

We had a nice stay at the Draft Horse Inn. Because of the surrounding small towns there weren’t lots of options close to where we needed to go. So needless to say we were thrilled to find this hotel. The ladies at the front desk were beyond polite and helpful and the overall decor of the hotel was cute. We will definite stay there again when we need to return to the area.

Small town, cute hotel!

Our 2 bedroom condo was perfect! Mint clean and loved coffee and cream supply in the kitchen! Loved the patio. ( suggestion: Planting of evergreen or tall bushes in front of the patios to separate from parking lot, would make sitting there more pleasant! We were staring at trucks ...) ! Breakfast was your normal continental! Decent!! Over-all, we were very pleased and will stay there again if in tge area!
