comfy beds simple motel nice and warm thank you

We stayed 2 nights 2 different times and was happy with our stay both times.

Didn’t like how much the office smelled like cigarettes. Overall loved how clean the room was for the dogs and I. Wish the shower stall had a light it was a little dark. But other than that everything was great.

Staff friendly and informative. Good coffee. Will stay again. Nice.

This property was very economical but clean, comfortable,  and quiet. The motel manager is very pleasant and helpful.

A little shabby outside but the rooms were great.

Nice big room for me, my daughter and dog. Quiet. Woman at desk a delight to chat with, helpful. We are so happy to have stayed in town rather than outskirts

This is a older hotel that doesn't have new counters, carpet, coffee pots in the room, etc. but it is very centrally located in town, they have things I miss in many budget hotels today like a clock in the room, tissues in the bathroom, a AC unit that is on the wall high and not right next to the bed blasting you all night. And they have smoking rooms so they are open to all guest - not just ones who complain. Great staff who makes sure you get anything you need. So nothing special in the room or property, but easy to get to, enough parking, coffee and juice in the lobby, and reasonable prices. All I needed.

Easy to locate, near the highway. Good, clean, older economy motel. Has microwave and small fridge. Coffee, muffins, juice, cereal for breakfast in office. Comfortable and just enough for an overnight stop over. Great price compared to other options in town. Good little restaurant just down the block we walked to in less than 5 minutes.

Bring your own hairdryer and ask for a room on the second floor or in the single story building. We stayed in room 116 and could hear the people upstairs walking around late at night.

Good, clean economy motel

Older motel which still provides a microwave along with fridge, as well as, a nice larger t.v. with lots of channels. Clean and neat with friendly staff. The manager (Chris) is very welcoming. I travel frequently and this is one of my go to stop overs. At one of the lowest prices in town, what puts them above and beyond is that they offer  breakfast goodies; and, I love their large cups for coffee!  They also give a free drink coupon for a nearby place. Highly recommend. God bless and safe journeys :)

Love it

I found the motel on TripAdvisor.  We liked it so much I made a reservation to stay on our return trip too.  Our room was clean, comfy, and quiet.  The air conditioner is also a heater.  The owner/manager was really helpful and remodeling some of the room.  Normally, it offers breakfast but due to the virus it has been suspended.

We unexpectedly stayed 2 nights when our truck broke down. They were able to accommodate us last minute with our dog.  We had a nonsmoking pivate room (bungalow style). Decor is a little dated, but the beds were decent, plenty of towels and it was very clean and quiet. Continental breakfast consisted of prepackaged danish & juice (was good though, we had a cinnamonroll and cheese danish). 
Room had a fridge and microwave & free wifi. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. We would definitely stay again if we find ourselves in Winnemucca again.
There's a casino nearby with great food and a Jack in the Box. 

Can't go wrong

During a long, hot, cross-country road trip, the Scottish Inn was a good place to stay for the night.  It was clean, quiet, safe, and we had a good night's sleep - exactly what we wanted and expected.  The breakfast for me was a banana and a cup of coffee, but it got me started on the road for another long day of driving.  No complaints.
