The property is horrible. Our room stunk of mildew,i had to use a car freshener which still didn't help, there was no hot water only warm water in the shower.. as a property Wyndham ower Wyndham should be embarrassed having there name associated with that hotel.. one thing that's definitely for sure I will never ever ever go to a Howard Johnson again never

Front staff was pleasant. Our room was clean & nice. Water pressure was amazing.

My stay was quite peaceful and hassle free, the staff was very nice and friendly. I will book this place again in the future.

Sam and BJ were absolutely exceptional during the check-in/check out process. Despite what other individuals have posted regarding this location in the past, it is currently immaculate and and even the rate is extremely competitive considering you are only 15-20 minutes away from the beach :-). I look forward to future visits to this location.

Employees were very friendly and helpful. Would be nice if they had some coffee in the terminal for early flights.

The room was very nice, clean, and newly renovated. It is close to anything you want to get to. Because of Covid they do not have the continental breakfast available so they give out breakfast bags that had juice apples oranges a muffin and a breakfast danish to bring back to your room. They accommodated very well and the staff was very pleasant.

After searching the possibilities in the Market St area of Wilmington, and being dissatisfied with the pricing of the hotels nearby including the Hilton Hotels ( I am a Hilton Diamond Member)I decided to take a chance on the Howard Johnson's since it was getting late. To my surprise the room was newly decorated, clean and secure and the entire experience was great.

Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience. The room was clean and had almost everything I needed. I had coffee and sugar, but no coffee maker. Plenty of coffee in the lobby. If you do not eat gluten, the breakfast is very limited. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. Quiet too. I was near the front of the building and therefore, the road. I would stay here again for sure.

A pleasant surprise

This is nothing new for i have stayed in the past, always a pleasure at this establishment. I  always have a great stay at all Howard Johnsons. Thanks for having us. The lady who checked us in was very professional, great manners. I will always have are company stay at this location. Again thank you .

My Stay.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was convenient, and it was great not having to deal with elevators or stairs. A bit outdated, with very low toilets that were difficult for us as elderly people. Could use a thorough cleaning...light fixtures were dirty and buggy and corners of rooms had dust and sand. Could be more generous with towels and toilet paper as well. Air conditioner worked great!

Comfortable and convenient for $

Love one story, and you can park outside your door. Tons of exterior lighting.  Close to dining, shopping and freeway.  Bed was comfortable, owner was onsite and making updates. My wallet & ID were stolen 12/24, staff was great with letting me check in without + I was sick.  I will stay again when I return.

Excellent Staff and Location.

Decent hotel but I was a little disappointed with the fact that there was no cable TV. Mainly the local channel lineup that you get with the special antenna. I understand that running a business is tough but I stayed on a Saturday night and paid premium pricing. The staff was very friendly and the desk clerk even offered breakfast items after hours.

Have an issue with the male running the lobby in evening, he made my fiancé seem like a thief for getting a plastic fork out of the lobby. Stood there and stared him down. Other then that the rooms are ok, I got a smoking room and the only thing I wished they would do is spray. I get it was a smoking room but it shouldn’t smell that harsh of cigarettes if you’re cleaning the place right. Bulb was out in the mirror. The ladies running the lobby in the morning made my trip! Waffles were amazing, worth waking up early for. If you want cheap, this is a nice place not far from everything.
