We enjoyed the staff, the room and the 24hr diner has real good food.  We enjoyed being able to get any type of food 24/7.  If we were in the area again we would stay again.  Staff was friendly.  Rooms were very clean. Great price too

Best choice for hotel in Willard. Had to take a smoking room. That was all they had left. It smelled horrible. Went to the desk and complained. They were very nice and brought us a spray bottle of odor rid and said we could keep it in our room. The windows don't open. Otherwise the room was very clean.

Great stay and good food

We pay for a nonsmoking room just to find out they put the smoking rooms in the same hall with no smoking room so your not paying for nonsmoking room when the hall and your room smells like a bar. Last time we stayed there we had no problems at all. They really need to to put smoking on one end of the building and nonsmoking on the other not happy about the smell

Smells

This motel is set back from the road and not real easy to find; but it was fairly quiet. On the plus side, there is a comfy lounge and a (small) fitness center. But overall the service was awful. Nobody minds the breakfast bar, I had to ask an office person to get new o.j. 3 days in a row around 9 am the housekeeper asks to clean the room, even when I put the Do Not Disturb on my door -- including my last day when I was checking out anyway.  When I did check out, the lady at the desk didn't smile or even say "thank you!"

Room for improvement

Staying here a few nights for business. 

The rooms seem clean, if not a little worn/dated, & a fair amount of space. 

The staff seemed polite enough when I checked in, but they don’t go above and beyond to be friendly. 

The WiFi May be free, but it doesn’t matter because it doesn’t work half the time. 

But, I’ve heard that this is the better of the 2 hotel options in Willard. It’s a clean room & got shower, nothing more. 

Nothing Special

Seemed like a nice stay . Everyone was very polite value was very good . Had a great visit when I'm in town I'll be back to stay . If you have discounts too send to my email it would be much appreciated.  

My visit

My girlfriend booked the room three weeks before we checked in only for us to realize our stay was not reserved. We finally got  room for one night. The key cards work on every single door as well thought our room was a certain number but actually a different one. When we got to suite, the room smelled of Mildew and smoke. Our TV remote was sticky and smelled vasciline. Also no wifi was provided. Do yourself a favor and find a different place.

Avoid this place like the plague

This “hotel “ has seen better days. I have been staying here for 3 days a week for the last 3 months for business. From the uninviting lobby, unprofessional and poorly dressed front desk staff this place is a total failure. Rooms are very old and worn and the smell of smoke is so bad that I have brought an ionizing machine with me.Two out of the last three days I had no room cleaning at all. This place relies 100% on a contract they have with the railroad, otherwise I’m sure it would have closed a long time ago.

Do yourself a favor and drive a little further

This place is a dump!  The first thing you see when driving in is the driveway that looks like it's been carpet bombed.  Unclean inside.  Employees are rugged and unkempt.  Amazing that the manager can sleep at night.  Smells like cigarette smoke.  Carpets are filthy.  Always out of coffee.  Outlets don't work.  The "Do Not Disturb" signs don't stay on the doorknob.  I can't believe that the slumlords who own this place won't spend the money on updating it and finding a better staff.  Ugh!

Would never recommend another human being stay here!

My Husband stays here for work, pillows are disgusting, bedding is unwashed, he literally puts his shoes on the dresser and his bag as well so they don’t touch the floor. I have heard numerous stories about this place from others on the conditions they endure due to staying here for work. All rooms should get the same cleaning and attention no matter if it is for the work crowd (the company pays for it) or the general public. Have some respect for all of your guests!
