Hamilton House

We stayed at Hamilton House as a family group of eight. Gloria is a great host. She's a marvelous cook (CIA trained). Each breakfast was filling and flavorful.Her storytelling displayed delightful wit and charm. She captivated us with chapters of the House's history, as well as her personal story. The first floor of the House has a large music room with piano and a large sitting room for reading or conversation. There are two outdoor sitting areas for morning coffee or evening relaxation. My wife and i stayed on the second floor, Dega room. It has a ornate king size bed with sitting area. The bathroom has a large spa tub, vanity and separate makeup counter with mirror. While the shower is smallish, it was more than adequate for my large size. The room is very large but has minimal natural light. The adequate lamps make up for this. The room includes a small refrigerator stocked with soft drinks and bottled water. Overall Hamilton House is clean and comfortable and makes a great choice for family or business stays.
