White Swan Inn Bed & Breakfast

We recently spent two nights here on a spur of the moment weekend getaway. Perfectly located in Whitehall, across from Howmet theatre and within a couple of short blocks walking distance to the lake, eating, shopping and a brewery and pub. Our host and hostess Ron and Kathy welcomed us, explained everything and offered restaurant suggestions. The whole house, our room, the Sygnet Suite, was very clean, spacious, comfortable bed and a beautiful full bathroom. It was wonderful to wake up to the lingering aroma of breakfast each morning, put on our house robe and poured a cup of coffee (or tea) from the hallway coffee station while we were getting ready. Downstairs fresh, homemade breakfast was waiting. The screened in porch is a sweet spot for morning coffee or a glass of wine, purchased at a Michigan winery, in the evening. Parking is on property. Special touches were everywhere, and you have to go to experience simply a lovely, homey B&B.
