Whispering Pines Motel

Rust and hard water spots all over the fixtures,  old carpet...  but its a great stay for a weekend.  All the important parts were clean.

Our stay was more than adequate in all respects. There is an excellent restaurant in White Stone just moments away. The motel receptionist couldn't get her credit card machine to work to be able to charge us an animal (small dog) fee, so she waived the fee, which we appreciated.

The staff are accommodating and kind. The room was clean with an updated bathroom and new large size flat screen television. Comfortable bed with a quiet atmosphere. Just minutes from downtown restaurants and shops. Well priced! 

Very nice place, we were in town for a family dinner (Urbanna) and didn't want to drive back the same day so booked an overnight. The owner was very friendly. The room was small but very clean and comfortable. Good place for the monet spent for a safe quiet place to sleep.

2nd time we’ve stayed here it’s convenient to everything we needed. If all you need is a place to sleep and take a shower than this is the best bet.

Overall a excellent stay the tile on the shower floor was Wall tile it was very slick the shower mat was too small other than that I was very comfortable stay

Near WiComico Church. Friendly service and peaceful environment. Clean and A/C rooms.

We had our boat in the Deltaville Boatyard getting some repairs we stayed at the Whispering Pines for two nights it's it was very old but clean there was no breakfast no special services provided the people that run it are very nice and if you just want a bed to sleep in when you're on your way to somewhere else it's perfect

The Whispering Pines Motel in the White Stone / Kilmarnock area of the Northern Neck of Virginia is an example of the 1960's classic roadside motel: nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable enough to invite a return stay.  The one peculiarity is the noisy plumbing - it's noisy, but functional.The owner, his family and staff are hospitable, friendly and happy to please.

Classic motel

A nicely kept roadside motel. fridge and microwave in the room, TV, bed and AC were up to date. First impressions make you think this is overpriced. It is the only game in town so maybe it is, however it is well kept and meets the travelers basic needs. Did not disappoint and there were no surprises.

Whispering Pines was a wonderful place! The front desk checkin was very friendly and helpful! The room was very clean and comfortable! It had fridge, microwave, and coffee maker and ice machine.  The shower was very nice!   It also had a flat screen tv with good cable and very fast wifi!!! We had no issues.  The Pool was very clean and very close to the room.  This was one of the most comfortable rooms we have ever been in! The landscaping was beautiful and you can tell that the owner and staff take pride in their business!!!  We will be back and I would recommend this hotel to anyone!!!

GREAT PLACE!!!

Comfortable and convenient at a good price.

Room was fine. Front desk did not know about places to eat. Knew that Pizza Hut delivered but didn't know where it was. Be prepared to Google places to eat.

Clean facility  listings stated pet friendly. But sign at check in states pets by permission only plus charged $44.extra.  For 1 night with small dog.
