We took a spontaneous trip to Winthrop and our usual hotel choice was booked. We decided to stay at the AbbyCreek Inn. It's a smaller motel with a nice courtyard pool in the middle of the two-story complex. My spouse has mobility issues, and three staff members offered to help me with our bags as I struggled by from the parking space. So sweet! The room was basic, but the bed was comfortable, and the a/c worked. The included breakfast was very good-homestyle food and pleasant staff. We didn't notice any excess pool noise and the pool looks clean and inviting although we did not go in (this time). We would stay here again.
