Newport Antler Motel

The motel is nice and clean. The manager is very attentive. I have been staying there about every 10 days for a few days at a time, and the place is great. The manager makes me feel at home and  she is very accessible in the event of a problem The beds are very comfortable, love the kind of Ice that comes out of the machine, it is shaved. I could not ask for a better place to stay.

This motel was really clean, nice updates done to the rooms.  Staff was friendly and helpful. I had checked with other motels in the area and the price was within the range of the others. I'm glad I chose the Newport Antler. They had ice,  free WiFi, and free coffee. 

This is an older style motel with all rooms on the one level.  We had a room on the opposite side of the courtyard from the office and since we were the only folks there it was quiet.  The rooms appear to be getting upgrades and apart from the old building smell everything was clean and tidy.  Room had a microwave, fridge, small table with two chairs and the usual phone, radio and TV.  WiFi is included with the price.  The hotel is in a good location and is within walking distance of down town and the scenic train ride.  Check in was efficient and fast and the staff we met were friendly.  We would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here last night after attending a family wedding. The young lady at the front desk was was super nice, and check in was simple. This is an old school small town motel where you actually fill out a slip and get a real key for your room. It is right in town so you can walk to get whatever you might need. Our room was nothing fancy, and that is perfectly fine. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Our room had a mini fridge and microwave, and a small table with chairs. It was very quiet, and they are pet friendly. I read some reviews and one said bring your own shampoo, so we did. However we didn't need to as there is shampoo and conditioner in our room. I would definitely stay here again.

I called to make sure the web page was as described. Even though it is a small town and very little to chose from, I was must disappointed that we didn't have a coffee pot as said.  They did tell us there was coffee at the end of the rooms from 6-10.  I went down at 8:00 and there wasn't any.  Went down a half hour later and the coffee pot was empty so since the door was cracked open I knocked and asked if there would be coffee and I got a no.  I asked if I should unplug the pot or would more be made since they said until 10:00 and I got another no to both questions.

Very quaint.  Clean but rustic.  Price was high and really think they need to update their web page.

We had a room in the back right corner of the motel, It was a tiny room that was a bit worn - rusty sink, water leaks, and pretty rough wall finishes. In addition it was a bit dirty. Based on what I saw from other reviewers, perhaps the other rooms were better.

The location is good - walking distance to food store and downtown.

The managers were very friendly and helpful.

Maybe it was our room

I was traveling over the fourth of July and didn't have a lot of choices. The bed linens were white, but brown towels are a put off.  Ther was one white towel set did go to the office and they gave me more white towels. The owners/ mangers?? Were very nice and polite and accommodating. But the lock situation combined with posted signs not responsible for stolen items. I wouldn't stay there again unless I was desperate.

Found this motel on this site it said hurry 2 rooms left. Discounted rate. So I read the comments and booked before we missed out. We were driving from Silverdale Washington about 11 hours we took the scenic route. We wanted to make sure we had a room. As it turned out our bed was very comfortable. But The shower was weak the towels see through. And it was way over priced. Any where else for a summer rate it would be 65-75.00 for this style room. And not full either as their were only 4 cars the whole night in the supposedly full motel. 13 rooms and 4 cars we were the first up as we left at 5 am to get home that day. 



Overnight 

Clean, quiet , definitely bring your own shampoo and conditioner. Beds not very comfortable we were in RM 2. No tub just shower. No coffee maker fid have microwave and mini fridge.  Friendly helpful at the front desk. Pretty pricey for one bed tho over 90.00 in this small lil town. Location downtown Newport. 

In town for wedding 

We stayed in a pet friendly room.  It was nice and comfortable and everything worked.  It's across the street from a large grassy area which is great for walking dogs.  I don't think it has an ice machine, but there's an Exxon about 1/2 mile away.  It's a decent budget motel.
