Casino Vicksburg, formerly Lady Luck Casino, is perhaps the Mississippi town's oldest riverboat casino. Located at 1350 Warrenton Road, it is a 24-hour-a-day operation with 35,000 square feet of gaming space, a hotel, a restaurant and a lot of table games that a non-gambler like me has no clue about. For example, have you ever played Double Deck Blackjack with Bet the Set Side Bet? Or Three-Card Poker with Six-Card Bonus Side Bet? Or Mississippi Stud with Three-Card Bonus Side Bet? The casino also features slots and a sportsbook. After losing our allotted $10 at the slots, my wife and I repaired to the Southern Bites restaurant, which offers burgers, sandwiches, baskets, breakfast and desserts. Also Blue Plate Specials with meatloaf on Thursday, spaghetti and meatballs on Friday and chicken and dumplings on Sunday. We settled for a corned beef sandwich, a cheeseburger, a shrimp basket and chocolate milk shakes.
