This hotel is very dated, and is undergoing some badly needed updates.  The parking lot was a mess, nearby properties were filled with old trashed vehicles, a bus that hadn't moved for months was right outside the front door, and the traffic noise is high.
The room was dark.  It was motel style with doors to the outside as well as a door to the interior hallway.  A small coffee maker in the room and a refridge, and a microwave.  No breakfast.  At all.  There was a grocery store nearby where we got breakfast fixings and ate in the room.  The towels were very thin and rough.  But the bed was fine and we were able to sleep.

Not At All a Quality Level Quality Inn

I booked the hotel based off of 4.0 from the Choice Hotels website.  They currently are not serving breakfast due to COVID-19.  This is still the norm it seems.  The room is nice and cozy.  It is a double occupancy room with two queen beds, a microwave and fridge, and a clean bathroom.  When I arrived it was raining and I drove around trying to find the entrance.  The Quality Inn sign was barely visible from the road, it needs a new set of light bulbs.  The building had no lit signs to indicate which way to get to the property.  The building is not lit up outside and actually appeared to be abandoned.  I asked the clerk about it and she stated it was because of the businesses nearby.  The Motel 6 looks safer than this place does, the businesses are closed right now, light this place.  They are doing some renovations on the hallway, I almost wish now I got an upstairs room, I would actually feel safer than having two entrances.  The shower in my room gave only one option HOT or HOT.  The TV did not work.  I was not amused with the reviews.  The room was acceptable as long as I only slept in the bed with no intentions of a shower.

1 - One of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had.  Moved rooms three times because doors wouldn't lock or lights turn on.  Front desk showed minimal concern.  Called manager and she has not returned phone calls.  I would stay far away from this nightmare.

Horrible Experience

Just to let you know there is no elevator and if you are handicapped, this would be a problem.  I asked for a first floor room when we arrived to check in at 5:00 PM.  They said there was none available and I was told that even if I requested it when I made my reservation, they could not guarantee my request would be honored.  Very disappointed with this.

We asked about ice and was told the ice machine was not working, but they had some behind the desk.  We gave them a bag and received some ice.

Breakfast was mediocre.  There was real coffee only, no decaf.  There was no juice.  There was no yogurt, fruit, oatmeal packets, or waffles.  They did have some cereal, sausage and what looked like scrambled eggs.  They only had 2% milk.  We saw little ants crawling on the counter by the cereal.

When we were getting ready to leave, I asked for some ice as I wanted ice water.  No good.  I was told no ice was available and they just started the machine and it would take an hour before ice would be ready. 

Our room was clean, but the air-conditioner was SO loud.  We didn't sleep much.  We will not be going back.

Disappointed

I booked rooms here for employees and owner of our business.  I was embarrassed because it was awful.  The hotel was under construction and a mess.  I was not warned about that at all.  Rooms are not cleaned regularly.  Front desk hangs up when I call.  Trying to check out so to not ever stay there again, but cannot get anyone on the phone and am sitting on hold for agent with corporate for 30 minutes now!!!  I would rate a zero if that was an option

Awful even at a cheap price

Room 123 is a death trap. Between the light switch that is hanging out of the wall over an inch with exposed electrical wires that are sparking that shorted out the entire room, the ineptitude of the front office and dealing with the problem and in efficient and smart manner with customer satisfaction in mind, in the bathroom that has a toilet that is not secured to the ground and literally rocks a half an inch in either direction and a handrail the main long one in the bathtub that is not fully secure and wobbles up and down in if you gave it a good yank you would end up pulling it out of the wall, I don’t really understand how they legally rent this room out.

I have attached pictures of the light switch, another electrical switch that had TV things plugged into it, the handrail, I’m not going to attach pictures of the toilet, the mildew in the bathtub and shower area, nor the gouges on the wall where the sofa has taken it’s toll because it just has I guess. 

I’m not going to go into the general dissatisfaction I have with how they handled this and we’re far more concerned that with no lights that I could not find my mask after calling them on the phone asking them to come down to my room and either bring the keys to a new room or to deal with it they told me they didn’t have time so I told them I would go up to see them. The mask is a far bigger issue than my well-being, happiness, or safety.

That said, well I’m taking a shower, they did go through And credited my entire stay and put 1000 reward points and myself. I think that is reasonable and would consider giving him a second chance but not staying in this room until then unless this is fixed. 

Well as for my friends that we’re staying in rooms down the hall, one of the rooms would not lock from the outside. So when I went to leave they had to leave through the hall and lock the door to the outside with a good book. They mentioned this and got immediate keys to another room. We went to dinner and quickly came back and when they went into the new room there was already somebody else there. Yikes. Needless to say I think they are in that room with the deadbolt on but again not an ideal situation from a safety perspective.  They’ll ask for my friends that we’re staying in rooms down the hall, one of the rooms would not lock from the outside. So when they went to leave they had to leave through the hall and lock the door to the outside with a deadbolt. They mentioned this and got immediate keys to another room. We went to dinner and quickly came back and when they went into the new room there was already somebody else there. Yikes. Needless to say I think they are in that room with the deadbolt on but again not an ideal situation from a safety perspective. 

And can I just address one other thing? I don’t think I’m alone in this. I hate when you have an air conditioner that you cannot just let run blowing air all the time. The AC can come on and off as it needs to cool to achieve its desired coolness. But I hate that the entire unit clothes on and close off. It wakes you up every single time it does that through the entire night. Can we get back to the universe where are you can let the AC unit just have the fan on all the time, circulating the air and providing White Noise?

Oh. My.  God.   

Evacuated due to flooding at home. Super stressed upon check in. The man in the front office was so amazingly nice and really helped alleviate some of the stress. My room had two comfy queen beds and tons of pillows. My room was clean with an above average size fridge. TV had a few hbo channels but the remote would not control the TV volume. I just set it from the backside of the TV, not a dealbreaker. I loved having a hallway and an exterior door. More than enough room for a few yoga mats by the hallway door without bumping into anything. Super happy I picked here to stay.

Couldn't have picked a better place to evacuate to.

My mother in law actually booked this placed, but personally wouldn't book a room here.
The lobby door is barley hanging on and seemed to be held together by(old) duct tape, the ENTIRE building stunk of cigarettes! I'm sure the owners don't have a big budget but better ventilation would be great. Also the room was dingy and the bed skirts were stained. I don't want to be ugly but i felt a very hands off approach and a lack of care to the actual look and image of this hotel by management is something that i couldn't over look.

I wouldn't book this hotel

Smoke smell throughout, dirty, worn badly, dated.  Bathroom sink plugged,  shower drain had no plug.  Breakfast is poor with no water, no milk,  no attendant to cleanup.  Lobby was filled with pallet of new refrigerators--for the 3 days we were there.  Guess they were too lazy to deal with it.  Dish TV cables hanging outside windows.  2 story with no elevator.  Just a trashy  trashy place.

Better choices elsewhere

THIS HOTEL IS THE WORST! Poor management. I inadvertently booked this property and they refused to cancel the room. I will never book with this hotel chain again. The management was so rude and had zero understanding.
