This hotel is fabulous. Decor is excuisite and rooms very comfortable. My only negative remark is tv picture very snowy

This was a wonderful place to stay. It was very clean and smelled so good. It truly was such a beautiful place and the staff were all so nice. We would definitely stay there again.

The furnishings throughout the hotel were exquisite. It was decorated the continental breakfast was delicious. Staff was very friendly, and the bed was comfortable not much more I could ask for.

First time staying at this hotel. Was very impressed with front staff. The rooms were clean and well stocked. Will definitely stay again

Convenient location right across the street from the Alabama Hall of Fame. Beautiful lobby. Full breakfast. Patio with fire pit and seasonal pool. Would stay here again.

The property is uniquely decorated like the old south. The staff was very polite and friendly. The morning breakfast bar was very good too. It was all around a great stay.

The lobby is beautiful, location is great.

I recently stayed at the Coldwater Inn as part of a solo getaway.  The hotel was just what I needed.  It is very clean and quiet, and everyone from the front desk to the housekeepers were all very nice!.  I highly recommend this hotel for individuals, or for families.  The Alabama Music Hall of fame is right across the road and is interesting to visit.  I also went to George’s Steak Pit for dinner, which is in Sheffield and an easy drive. ( very good upscale steakhouse).

Home away from Home!

We stayed in the Executive Studio Suite (Cotton Suite). $360/night. I'll start with the positives.When we arrived early (2:30) the room was ready and we were able to check in early. The staff are very friendly and always willing to assist. The lobby was very nice with a dual stair case and Southern Plantation vibe. Lots of old southern style furniture in the lobby and second floor balcony over looking the lobby.The room was also decorated with the same Southern Plantation style furniture and dark red wall coverings.  The King bed was huge and comfortable. The draps are eligant.  The pool out back was nice and clean.Now for the negatives.The room curtains that were meant to provide privacy were broken. They would not close (neither of them). The mechanism that should have been there to hold them up in the middle was missing.  By the time I noticed this issue it was too late, and because maintenance personel where not there. I requested a binder clip, so I could attempt a fix on my own. They could only provide paper clips. Therefore, I had to macgyver the heck out of the privacy issue. Also, the windows of this room overlook the front entrance under the huge coluimns and canopy. The lights under the canopy are on ALL NIGHT LONG. The windows very extremely dirty. There was no view. The bright lights flood through the broken curtains. I was able to close most of the gap with paper clips holding them together, but the room remained lite. I have a UV light, enough said. Gross!

Not what I expected. They'll leave the light on!

Nice, clean hotel with some southern charm. The only issue we had was no mini fridge in the rooms. I really couldn't believe that when we arrived. Bed was comfy and everything else was clean and functional. Breakfast was standard faire but had lots of options and was clean and kept stocked. Overall a nice night stay.

No mini fridge in the rooms?

The pictures show a very classy looking hotel.  It has a nice lobby.  I didn't look at amenities since we only stayed one night but thought there might be a nice lounge or dining.  There is not.  Overall the place is nice.  I generally disregard comments about things needing to be updated but the bathroom really needs updating.  I think it was clean but the grout was discolored as was the shower curtain liner.  The colors were gold, like the 70's.

Nice Hotel

Christmas decorations on the twin curving staircases along with the tree set this stay for beauty and calmness. Although we didn’t use the fire pit or pool or small gathering rooms, this hotel begs for family reunions or small wedding venue. Our king suite was spacious with plenty of pillows and a great heating system. Although our room faced the 4 lane road, it was quiet for sleeping. On the outskirts of Tuscumbia but close enough -5-7 minute drive to tourist sites. Close to Alabama Music Hall of Fame. 
Soft cookies and hot chocolate along with a good breakfast, makes this a must stay in the Tuscumbia-Muscle Shouls area. 

Boutique Hotel with beautiful lobby areas

Wonderful southern hospitality.  The front desk staff was amazing from check in and check out.  They had hot coco bar with lol kinds of toppings, cookies, hot coffee at all times free to their guests .  They were very helpful in answering our questions, taking pictures of our families in front of the gorgeous Christmas decorations throughout the lobby and grand staircase.  Our room. The bed was very comfortable, room very clean. There was a small fridge in our room and coffee/tea Kurig.  Breakfast was very nice and filling, with biscuits, gravy, sausage, make your own waffle, juices, cereal, yogurt.  Was very wonderful experience, and I will definitely stay here again next time I am in the area.  It is perfect location to get to anything in the area

Wonderful southern hospitality

Common areas were excellent, but room had a couple of small issues. Light blocking curtain was not properly set up and hard to use. Toilet had difficult time flushing waste and frequently required multiple flushes. Otherwise, I would recommend staying here. Located right across from the Alabama Music Hall of Fame and not far from Helen Keller birthplace.

Beautiful ambiance upon entry- see photos. Staff could be a little more knowledgeable about the history of the place,name etc. smelled awesome -very welcoming. Explanation of how to use the shower should be posted. Never could quite figure out to use properly. Clean, good sleep, quiet, off road enough, I would definitely stay again if in the area. Eggs, bacon, sausage biscuits. The usual cold stuff included. One of a kind location. Downtown looks super cute. Not enough time to explore

Beautiful

The lobby is gorgeous and even more so as it was decked out in tasteful Christmas decorations.  A lovely seasonal hot beverage table complete with fun toppings added to the welcoming atmosphere.  Check in employee was extremely charming and polite.  Complimentary breakfast was tasty with a nice variety.  The room, however, was a bit of a disappointment.  Just so so ambiance.  The welcoming marquee referred to them as a "boutique" establishment.  The room was clean but nothing fancy.  Definitely no refrigerator.

Nice and Pleasant

there was continental breakfast from 6 AM to 9 AM. I Was in the lobby at 8:20 AM to get breakfast there were no eggs no bacon two cold hard biscuits and two cold pieces of sausage this was 40 minutes before breakfast was to end very very disappointing as we booked a hotel because there was also a breakfast there. The room had a musty or an odor to it. Was not told pool was closed. Toilet flushing was very loud and lasted minutes waking up anyone sleeping. Shower turned cold before my husband finished his shower and the water pressure was a mere stream.
