We loved our stay- the front desk staff were very nice, the views were beautiful and a nice walk to the seashore. We didn’t have our pets but like that it is dog friendly. Everything was clean, bed was comfortable, will definitely stay again.

It wasbt the Ritz but it was perfect for what we were looking for: a dog friendly room, just a short drive from downtown, that wouldn’t break the bank. Staff was very friendly also.

Helen is the absolute bomb!  She booked for me the exact room I requested. The rooms are perfectly clean, the beds are a dream and the staff is the friendliest. I will be back.

The staff was friendly, helpful and very kind. Also they served a nice breakfast.

Big room, very friendly staff, open for pets, just 10 min drive to Provincetown.

Loved this hotel. Had our dogs and the staff and whole experience was amazing. Walked to the beach using several different trails connected to the property. Only place ill stay for future trips.

We love this place! The rooms are cozy and the beds comfy. The view cannot be beat! We visit once a year.

I stayed in a double with balcony with my family of 3. Upon check in I was greeted by a warm woman. She was pleasant and handed me a keychain with two physical keys. The room had a makeshift kitchen with a fridge on an automatic timer. The balcony consisted of two mismatched chairs overseeing a construction on the property and a wasps nest. My daughter loved the hotel however would get scared by the constant wind pushing in the door. At night you can see there is so much space around the cracks of the door lacking a proper seal. The room was clean however a magic eraser could take care of the dirt around the door panel. I found the shower to be inconvenient. I’m 5’8” and the shower heads are so low and the curtain was hung very close inside the tub. The room was cleaned daily with vacuuming. My daughter appreciated they would line up her plushies on the made up bed with her blanket folded over them. The ice machine is very far from the room outside next to the out of service relic of a payphone. I personally wouldn’t call their breakfast continental. I would give this hotel 3.5 stars if I could. For the off season price, it was worth it, however I would stay elsewhere during the season.

We have stayed at the Dune Crest for about 25 years often on. The past 3/4 years we have gone 2 to 4 times in a summer As we have a small dog and they allow dogs. A big part for our returning is due to the staff. They are all very kind and helpful.Helen is the manager and she knows everything that’s going on. She’s always so friendly and helpful, we’ve gotten to know each other the past few years and I can’t imagine how the place would run without her.

Great friendly place!

Great no-frills hotel near the ocean. Rooms were clean, beds very comfortable and the view from the deck was stunning. Rooms aren't really up to date and a bit worn, but everything was functional.  Love how dog friendly they are - my dog even had a comfortable stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was a nice bonus - coffee, bagels, yogurt, etc.  Easy drive to local beaches, Provincetown, Wellfleet.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Dune Crest. It is a large piece of land and there are many amenities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was convenient to visit locations, beaches and restaurants in the lower Cape. The pool was really nice, and aLimited but satisfying breakfast is available. I would recommend this hotel. The only think we noticed was the rooms were not very updated, the bathtub had a low shower head and my husband had a hard time washing his hair, and the AC had a little bit of mold.

Location is perfect if you want to take a peak at P-Town, but not stay right there. Close to the sea shore and AMAZING views! Staff was just wonderful a smile really goes a long way with me and they were so inviting (even after we locked our keys in the room). I was recommending it as soon as we got to our room.

For our 20th anniversary trip, part of our trip was 2 nights at Dune Crest. The best thing about this hotel were the staff. They were as accommodating as possible and always pleasant, along with the views that were amazing. I was under the impression that there was direct access to the beach. There is not. This could be a Hotels.com or the property error. The room was spacious and the bed was awesome. The room was also very dated although it had new carpet. The bathroom is sorely in need of new tile, tub and paint. Overall, our stay was enjoyable and again, the staff was great!

Love the location. Super pet friendly. Quick easy access by car to provincetown, amazing beaches like herring cove (dog friendly) and some nice nearby restaurants in truro and wellfleet. The property itself is clean and comfortable with nice view. Would definitely consider a return to this property and area when i come back to the cape

The view was perfect from the hotel grounds with a great view of Cape Cod Bay and Provincetown in the distance. The room was clean with a comfortable bed and a table with two chairs. The Hotel was in a great location to visit Provincetown, Truro Vineyards, The Highland Lighthouse and Museum, the Pilgrim Monument and Museum, Race Point Beach, and eat at several great restaurants. The hotel’s dining room didn’t have ac and the breakfast was very limited so we ate in our room. It is an older hotel and the ac unit was subpar to keep the room cool. There were no USB ports and we had brought our own USB adapter. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. It was quiet with easy parking and an outdoor pool.

I found this hotel by mistake after having a very bad experience somewhere else. Helen at the front desk was extremely kind and very hospitable. The view was amazing, the room was clean, and the bed was quite comfy We will definitely be staying here again when we are in the area. Turned out my bad experience was a blessing in disguise as I would not have found this place otherwise. I highly recommend the Dune Crest Hotel!

A Hidden Gem

We’ve been going to the Dune Crest for the past 20 years, including 3 different times last summer and will stay twice this summer.
We’ve just stayed for a week over the 4th and  we had a great stay again.
We had a little glitch with our stay as we booked online through a third party and had 2 separate reservations as we extended our stay.. The manager Helen Anderson is amazing. She was so helpful and kind and very professional. She’s a wonderful addition to the Dune Crest. Can’t wait to return in August!!! Thank you Helen!
