The room was clean, the shower and tub were great, the beds are comfortable and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The room rate was very reasonable. Will definitely stay there again when in town!

An older facility being remodeled. Clean and staff very friendly. It was a one night stopover so it was good for what we needed. Plenty of eating places close by.

The Scottish is my second home. I’ll work during the week educator and stay in Oklahoma the rooms very clean nice very neat. The staff friendly will help you in anyway and my stuff inside the room always safe. Nothing ever touched. It’s not snowing. I have a place to stay when I come down here Wouldn’t stay anywhere else ever again

One night stay between Florida and New Mexico so we stayed in many motels, and this one was very clean, quiet (we stayed on the backside) and comfortable.  Decor is mid century modern with original brown wood crown molding (most places have painted over these).  Nice hot shower to start the next day's travel!

Restful Overnight

If you like friendly assistance and quiet peacefulness without all the extra fees and attitudes, this is definitely the place to sleep and enjoy the nice breakfast with Texas sized and shaped enormous delicious waffles and fresh coffee after your good night's rest. The beds are comfy and they have nice flat screen TV's with great channel options always a good movie to watch and the walls aren't paper thin so it's great privacy:) as well as the bathtub is wonderful and always these rooms are clean and well kept. There's a desk and lounge chair in the double bed rooms and microwave fridge and coffee maker:) well stocked and Melissa is just the best at accommodating our needs every time we stay. Best Western should be jealous:) Scottish Inn Decatur TX is the best home away from home and Decatur had pretty much anything one could need and a lot of stuff you don't but like anyways. :) Jesus loves everyone, remember this as you continue your traveling journey and I pray you all stay joyful and safe and no road rage!!! This is an older motel, but very nice.  Not the Ritz, but clean and comfortable, and the manager is a very friendly woman who does her very best to make her guests welcome.  In the morning she has breakfast with cereal, toast, juices, scrambled eggs, french toast and sausage.   All in all, I enjoyed my stay here.

The lamps with internal plugs for your computer, etc. are for the most part non-functional, but management said they are working on replacing them in every room.  I can't travel light and am so happy I can park right at the door to my room.  They serve free breakfast and have something for everyone.  Both the owner and her manager are eager to please, and they are assets to the hotel industry.  I'm staying with them again next month.

My stay was excellent the manager Melissa was very nice and the breakfast was actually good gravy was perfect and taste like gravy not like other hotels that have fake and nasty tasting gravy and the cheese omelette s were real good and biscuits fresh I Will be staying there again just for the free breakfast

Older Hotel located close to highway, easy to get to. Our room was clean & comfortable, but area where commode & tub/shower located is very small. Breakfast did not have much variety but was good. Reasonably priced and would use again, but would request room on back side to be quieter. Has nice outdoor pool. Several places to eat near by.

We have stayed in the Decatur Best Western several times a year when we attend sports car races nearby.  The motel is like an old fashioned motel where we can park at the door of our room.  Convenient for my husband and me to be able to get in and  out of our car at the door.   The motel has been updated and is clean and comfortable.  Rooms are large and conveniently arranged.   Very comfortable beds and we like NOT having heavy non-washable bedspreads or decorative bed covers.   This was the first motel we felt comfortable using when were returned to traveling after we were vaccinated for Covid and realized the motel was modifying for safety.   The Manager Marsha was very helpful and friendly, even though a bit busy adapting to new ownership and issues with having enough workers.   We will be back soon.  

Feel like we had traveled back in time in a good way.

My stay was on a Saturday night.  The person at the front desk greeted me with a smile and was quick to check me in.  She gave me exactly the room I requested.  The room was large, clean, and comfortable.  After being on a busy highway for many hours, I surely appreciated the comfortable bed and a quiet night’s sleep.  I really enjoyed being able to park right outside the door to my room.  I was very pleased with my overnight stay.
