Very friendly and accommodating staff. Cleanliness and the property was quiet.We were able to rest after our road trip

The room was very clean.  The bed was comfortable. The hotel manager/owner was very friendly and took time to give me information about the area. Very pleasant stay.

The owner is a lovely guy, he's very helpful and attentive to his Tenants making sure they have everything they need. He doesn't mind giving a ride if it's needed to those who doesn't have transportation. Overall the best motel owner I've ever met, he was even kind about my flights being delayed due to the weather and offered to let me and my partner stay a couple more days on the house.

Patrick was very friendly and helpful, fun to talk to. Everything in our room was clean and comfy.

My co-worker and I spent 2 nights at the Tazewell Motor Lodge and had a fantastic experience. We were there to attend training at Valor Ridge, and Patrick was more than accomodating. He provided us with directions to various locations, restaurant recommendations, and things to do in the area. Patrick also switched us to a larger room in the back of the lodge for additional comfort and quiet. He did so voluntarily and without raising the nightly rate. He takes exceptional care of his father, who has suffered a stroke, and his dedication to his family made a wonderful impression. The bed was extremely comfortable, as were the pillows. The room was clean and we simply couldn't have asked for more. If you're staying in the Tazewell/Middleboro/Cumberland area, look no further than the Tazewell Motor Lodge.

This was the best place to stay! Very comfortable and Patrick was extra helpful and made our stay a memorable experience!

A superb experience!

This is my second time being at the Tazewell motor lodge, and I have to say each visit has been very good. This place is perfectly located if you wanna grab something quick to eat when you wake up or when you want to grab something quick to eat when you’re coming home late. The owner is super nice. My husband and I were running late to the motel he stayed up a little later to accommodate us and he also out of the kindness of his heart. He upgraded us to a bigger room. He gave us information on some local places to try very accommodating to whatever your needs are when you stop in town. Definitely will stay here again when I am in Tennessee.

We have always talked about staying at Tazewell Motor Lodge. I am so glad we did. This is a very clean, no frills, very secure place. Our host Patrick was professional, friendly and helpful. Because this was our first time staying here, he upgraded our room. We travel from Michigan to Georgia, and this will be our regular stop. Thank you.

Great place to stay

The owner was very chatty and offered a lot of advice on what to do and see in the area. He also advised me to strictly observe the speed limits on the way to The Cumberland Gap as local law enforcement are hot on this. Room was clean and exactly what I expected, but could do with updating. My room was at the front so there was some road noise. If you are a light sleeper request a room to the rear. I'm not so it didn't bother me. AC worked well. Yes I would definitely stay there again 

A good Motel.

Great stay. Very comfortable and one of the cleanest motels we have ever stayed in. The owners and staff were gracious and friendly. They know the area really well and can offer advice on where to eat and what to do while visiting. Yes the hotel is older but it's the absolute best option in town! Don't judge the book by the cover!

Oldie but a Goodie!

A clean, well-maintained, small old-fashioned motel. Since I travel by motorcycle I really like to park in front of my door which is rare nowadays, unless you decide to stay at a no-tell-motel, which this one isn't. Get a bigger room in the back, they are very quiet. A problem which needs to be addressed is the fact that there is practically no Wi-Fi reception in the back. Bathrooms and rooms are fine, mattresses are good. Recommended.

Good old-fashioned motel, clean.

We arrived for a 3 night stay recently.   We had a nice size suite in the back of the property and were very pleased with the comfortable accommodations and cleanliness!  This is a family owned/operated property and well maintained.   There are not the bells and whistles like you might get at the major chain hotels, but there is a tv, small fridge and microwave in the room.   We will definitely stop back by next time we are in the area.

Nice clean spacious room

The motel is cute. It is just the right size for a couple. We didn't need anything fancy. It looked a lot better than the other motels in the same area. The only thing we didn't like was the noise factor. We were next to the highway. Either the owner or a person who works at the front desk is really nice and helpful.

Like other reviewers I must say the cleanliness of the room was outstanding. The owner was very friendly and brought us extra towels right away (without being asked). The carpet looked relatively new and the other furnishings, while dated, were in good condition and well maintained. There was highway noise but with the air conditioner running the noise was muted. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.
