Super 8 By Wyndham Strongsville/Cleveland

Recently I stayed at the Super 8 Motel in Strongsville Ohio. What can I say? It really was Super! The staff was always available even for my late night check-ins. Very friendly and a pleasure to talk to. I was given a end room conveniently located next to a stairwell on the second floor. At night it was very quiet and the parking lot was full on the weekends. I spent 10 nights there over a 2 week period. The room was very plush compared to places I have stayed elsewhere and the price was much lower than my motel stays in different Countries and States. Room was clean and did not have any weird smells. Air Conditioning worked excellent and was needed in the hot August nights of Northeastern Ohio. The beds headboard was a giant picture of the Cleveland Skyline including the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame which is located in downtown Cleveland. Mattress was like new and did not sag in the middle. Goldilocks would have found it "Just right"! 4 Soft Pillows were on the bed. A Phone was also on the nightstand. The computer chair with a high back at the desk made it easy to type out my reports and send them over the free WiFi and was able to transmit my work rapidly from my laptop. Many electrical outlets are in the room so I did not have to use a power strip to charge my several devices. There was a 40+ inch T.V. with Cable, Microwave Oven, and a Mini Refrigerator. Over by the sink was a Hair Drier, Coffee Maker, Coffee, Ice Bucket, some Cups, Napkins and a Box of Tissues. A place to hang your clothes put your hat and store your suitcase comes equipped with a few hangers. In the bathroom was the best shower head I have ever used! I took pictures of it but so far have not found one for sale around here. Complementary Shampoo and Soap is provided. I hear they have Free Breakfast, but I'm not a breakfast or coffee person so cannot comment on this. A great place for visitors to the Cleveland area! The motel is close to Interstate 71 which runs North and South from Cleveland (a 20 minute trip) to Cincinnati (a 3.5 hour trip) and the East-West Indiana to Pennsylvania, Ohio Turnpike. If you forgot anything, there are plenty of stores and a mall right down the street. If you want to go for a hike, the Cleveland Metro Park is also right up the street. I plan on staying here again next year when in the Cleveland area again.
