Spent two nights while in town for work. Rooms are dated, but clean and spacious.   Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.  Plenty of close free parking.  Off season for the resort activities and indoor waterpark under construction.   No complaints and would definitely go back.  

Good value, no complaints 

Overall great experience for money.   Rooms were basic but filled what they were designed for.  Proximity to water park and other rec activities were wonderful.    Sure with winding down they will repair out of order slides by next year.  

Would go back again.  Kids want to make it a annual Labor day Trip

The water park had the option of inside and outside and large adult slides and kid areas and traditional  swimming pool area. There were some slides that were closed but I can say that was really my only complaint and there was still plenty to do. As far as Waterparks go. I absolutely thought we got our moneys worth. There probably could be a few more lifeguards but it wasn’t horrible. Would definitely go back

We really enjoyed it

This is a review for the outdoor waterpark only. I have been here a few times in the past, and have always been satisfied and had a good time. We still had a good time, but what was disappointing was the fact that they have five slides and only three of them were open. We paid full price to get in and only got half the slides. The chairs they have now seem cheap. There were four broken ones in the area that we sat in. Overall i was fine, but not at all like in the past.

Very Disappointing

Comfortable bed and good location.   The walls are thin so you hear everything.  Needs a little TLC on the interior. it is the best place in town so they can charge more especially in the summer.   
It was nice to walk around the lake and enjoy the views.

Good stay

5 hour road trip for 2.5 hours of swimming total. We had plans to swim all evening & entire next day. 

Upon check in the lobby was full with people waiting to check in. The woman checking people in was very rude. She stated rooms weren’t ready there were 90+ check outs that day. She was sitting in a desk chair only thing you could see was her head. We had our luggage in tow, 10 of us. We were able to get into the pool and wait for our rooms. When we got to the pool it was a mad house. Zero seating. Restrooms were a mess, used tampon applicators on the floor. The room was like a sauna. There are not lockers or anywhere for you to store your belongings except a chair or table. Which were completely full. we pieced together a place for our group to eat. Concession Lines were long. Several people working but only one window open. One of us adults had to stand with the luggage while one constantly had to go to registration to see if we could check in, after being told they would call us when we could check in. One Hour and a half later we were finally allowed to check in. We kept the kids swimming, one of us grabbed a luggage cart & took all of our belongings to the room. 

Right when we were finally able to relax and get in the pool after watching our belongings, getting checked in late & getting a few open chairs. Someone pooped in the pool!!! It was disgusting! They closed the pool down. ( no swimming for the adults was to be had ) 

The lay out is super confusing for first timers. 

The building is very old & starting to show its age. Very very dated. Our room had a broken toilet seat screw  that slid around every time you’d sit on it. The tile was starting to come off the wall in the rest room. They had thin comforters on the bed not very plush or comfortable felt like a sheet. 

The remotes did not work for the tv. The pull out living room in the sofa had chips mashed in it. And the sofa folds out and hits the tv stand. If I were a tall person my feet would have been in the tv. 

The building is getting old you can hear every foot step above your head. 

Teens were running the halls knocking on all of our doors pretending to be “house keeping” 

The next morning the kids were excited to swim after the pool had been drained & ready to go. 9 am the pool opened. The chemicals were so harsh they were all choked up and coughing after 30 minutes. Once again we had to break up because half the kids had to swim the chemicals off. I was able to swim in the lazy river, hit the water slides and play basketball. I too have had a burning in my chest from the harsh chemicals,  Lasting through the night. ( dad didn’t get to swim at all because he had to tend to the kids that had chemical coughs ) 

Check out is at 11. At 10:30 there was a house keeping woman standing in the hall with a clip board marking who had left. I found it ironic with their inability to check us in on time. 

The evening desk staff was very kind & checking out. Much better experience than the first impression we had upon trying to check in: 

The view was pretty.

Wasted weekend

Terrible the excuse they were fully booked. Okay, don't sell out your rooms if you can't jeep up. When I said something to the manager, she responded "I have other people to deal with" customer service 👎

Terrible- Waterpark was closed. The way management responded was TERRIBLE. They just kept using the excise they were ful

Really showing it’s age.  We also had the joy of very little hot water.  Indoor water park was very hot and steamy.  Almost unbearable.  Not terrible but certainly not great.  They do have a nice looking restaurant.  We didn’t eat there but it had a great view of the lake.

Getting dated

I only gave this a three for one reason and it was that this place is in need of a face lift!  The rooms are very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly.  The water park is nice and the kids enjoyed it very much.  They have plenty of sun beds outside and shade.  The restaurant was good.  The service was slow but it seems to be that way everywhere anymore.  I would defiantly stay there again!

Great for families.

So me and a group of my friends went to king's ponite water park and it we had such a great time! there's a lot to do in one day and the people who work there are very welcoming and the life guards keep on watch for our safety.
