The first room they tried to give us was the most disgusting room I've ever been asked to pay for. The desk person was understanding and moved us to a room that seemed clean but was worn out and overpriced by about 3X.

Breakfast was about the minimum from these types of hotels.

I would not ever book a room here again and would advise to steer clear.

I arrived on a Tuesday night at about 11pm. I drove all through the parking lot looking for a space. Waaaay in the back there were some but it was filled with big trucks, construction vehicles, and young guys milling about smoking and drinking. There was no way I was parking back there as a solo female traveler. 
I found a spot closer to the front but it was unlit and pitch black. When I got out, I realized there were people loitering about. I just wasn’t comfortable in the dark
Check in was easy. The woman was very nice. The hotel smelled strange so I was nervous. My room was across from the laundry room. Door propped open and LOUD. i shut the door and hoped for the best. Relieved to get to the room and find it clean and more than just decent. 
I thought a drumline was practicing outside (muffled). Open the window to see if I could better hear, but turned out to be the air handler right below the window. I laughed but it made falling asleep hard. 
Bathroom and towels decent. Left early the next morning. Checkout easy and another nice woman. discovered that I had actually parked in the CVS lot next door. No fencing or signs so no wonder it was dark. 
Decent stay, but definitely not single female friendly with the parking lot situation. I think there are lots of construction workers staying there but who knows.

It was perfectly okay.

Two night stay for business.    A good experience - pricey due to fall foliage season (leaves had not changed) .     Hotel was clean and reflected areas of renovation and upgrades; one could tell that the hotel has been around and is a busy place in a very busy area of South Burlington/Burlington VT.       Easy access to highway, dining, and shopping.     Room clean, bed and bedding were clean and comfortable.     Sink did not drain well; water temperature and pressure were good at shower and sink.    No issues with Internet connection whatsoever.      Complimentary breakfast was adequate - fried eggs/sausage/bacon along with make your own pancakes, cereal, yogurt, and some fruit.    Plenty of juice, coffee, or tea.    Toast and english muffins also available.     Eggs and sausage was tasty, but not particularly warm.     Breakfast attendant was very attentive to the area and very pleasant.     Plenty of parking - clearly this is a popular hotel - quite a variety of guests - travelers, business, tourists, and workers.      

Good place to stay

Staying at this hotel is a mixed experience. 
Pro: The employees are wonderful, courteous, and friendly.
Cons: The facility is "tired". The room HVAC has only a very slow fan speed so temperature changes take forever. Fortunately, the maintenance person brought us a space heater. There were many people staying here this July 4th weekend, so the breakfast food items disappeared faster than they could be replaced. It's no fun coming to breakfast and finding most items gone.

Mixed experience

First the good.  The location is great, checkin staff are very nice, the wifi is good, sheets and towels fairly new and it was nice of the hotel to put out cupcakes for graduation.

Now the bad.  The halls and rooms are very old, dated and carpets stained.  First room given had window that wouldn't securely close on the first floor which would allow intruders, no go!  Second room lots of stains and housekeeping did a poor of cleaning bathroom, sink clearly uncleaned.  Shower head is a severe water restrictor type with limited flow.  Finally, the halls and rooms are very overdue for a refurbishment as they are lots of stains everywhere.  Unpleasant smells in the entry areas of the hotel which need better maintenance.  

I suspect that the location get keeps load factor high but the property is not being reinvested in for facilities update.  Sadly, I would recommend other properties in the area despite being a Choice elite.

Choice Elite review:  Property in need of refurbishment

This hotel is defined not 4 stars. As soon as we walked into the hotel, there was a terrible vibe and instantly smelled of weed. During the night, there were loud noises coming from the level above us. The room was not clean and smelled of old wet laundry as we walked in. The shower was poor as well, hardly any hot water. Would not recommend anyone stay here!

Worst stay ever!!

Maria at the front was awesome! Check in was a breeze..  Room and accommodation are really great! Everything clean and comfortable! Bed is unbelievable. Cant believe what you get for the price. See Maria when you check in and your trip just starts off right!

The hotel is filthy. Smell of mold in room and mold was visible around the air vents in room and bathroom. I was told by staff a little mold wouldn't hurt us. The common area floors not vacuumed, and the food storage room door was left open and we saw food placed uncovered all around the space. The floor in that room was visibly dirty. I will never stay in a Choice Hotel again.

Terrible

Terrible. A/C was out and did not bother to tell us till 10 pm on checkin when it had been for several days. I think that is extremely rude and inconsiderate of Choice Hotels. Their loyal clients especially deserve better. Every person deserves better. Simply terrible for $200+ a night. I feel ripped off.

Don’t book

Staff is fantastic! If you have the pleasure to meet Maria, she is amazing!  She was our lifesaver when all other hotels were either booked or way over priced (expect to pay a premium for this area due to proximity to airport). She went above and beyond, wanting to ensure our need was met (didn’t just try to get us to book here).  She is the reason why we ultimately decided to stay here and we are glad we did! 

- Great location, nearby the hwy and within walking distance of shopping mall / drug store  and restaurants. 
- Wonderful outdoor patio / pool, open late.
- Breakfast included!  Eggs, bacon, waffles as well as yogurt, fruit, cereals and bagels etc.  Juice and coffee available anytime.
- Ample free parking and good WiFi
-  Above average  sized room (3rd floor / elevator) with comfortable king bed, pullout couch,  shower/ tub with plenty of hot water, Keurig, fridge and microwave.
-Minor wear /tear that can be expected and doesn’t effect use / comfort

Yes, A/C is out of order (until further notice) and rooms are discounted accordingly. Large box fans are provided and you can open your window.  Bring earplugs - > that you should have anyway if you’re a light sleeper as not all guests are courteous with their nose levels.
