The hotel was very clean and close to everything. There was a complimentary breakfast that was sufficient for my needs as my team and I started early. Breakfast was like something you would have available at home.

Just as I needed not fancy, but clean, comfy, affordable, nice family run business.

This was a relatively inexpensive room that was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The parking was right outside and I would definitely stay here again on my next trip.

Quality Inns are pretty consistent in terms of the rooms, breakfast, and price relative to what you get.   Those are usually pretty good, but this one in Shelbyville distinguished it by having good local and franchise restaurants within a short walk, a gym and WalMart also a short walk away, and good running walking trails and roads right out the door,

This was the first time I stayed at this hotel. I was impressed. It was quiet and easy check in and check out. The bed was comfortable, room was clean.

Very nice and polite staff. It's always clean. Walmart, Applebee's and Denny's is within walking distance.

This place was dated but kept in excellent condition. Very clean!

We just stopped for the night on the way home and I was surprised how clean and good breakfast

The only quibble I have is that when I made the reservations, the hotel was listed as pet friendly but when I got there, I was told although I had reserved two rooms, only one of them could take pets. We had to put our pets into the one room. I would say that their marketing as pet friendly is not accurate.

Staff was very friendly and nice. Breakfast was good. Room wasn't super clean. Door lock won't always read our keys, took 4 or 5 swips. And had to have keys reprogrammed twice. Went for the eclipse it was great. Rate was normally $82 a night, might be an $82 hotel. Like all places they took major advantage of the eclipse $700 for 2 nights.

Ok for a night.

The room and building was okay.  Things are a bit dated and worn, but the place  and room were clean, comfortable and mostly maintained.  The security seemed adequate, breakfast was a good selection of options and the dining area was kept clean and stocked. An elevator would be nice.  The only issues that I brought up at checkout was the safety latch/stop for the door was broke and hang by a nail, the door deadbolt did not engage or work and the bathroom exhaust fan was non functional.  The room itself was clean and comfortable, good a/c and adequate channels on the TV.  The staff was friendly and courteous.

Good stay but needs improvement

Wow.  This was a cool surprise.  The last time I was here it was called Lee's Inn and it had seen better days.  
Quality Inn is now the marketing name owner of the hotel and they have completely re-did this place.  The lobby looked modern and clean and new. The rooms had completely been revamped, upgraded to modern times.  
The breakfast provided was organized and good.    Waffles, yogurt, bagels, toast, sweet rolls, brownie bites, oatmeal, cereal, oranges, bananas, coffee, juice. And good quality amenities.  Everything worked well.   Nothing broken.  
So this visitor was impressed with their weekend stay at the Quality Inn and Suites!

Also, shout out to Angela. You checked me in late Friday night. I saw you at the breakfast making sure everything was stocked the next day.  I saw you time and time again wondering if you were a robot that did not require sleep.  You personally made our stay excellent.  Thank you for all you did.

Quality at Quality Inn

This hotel has been updated recently. The room was very clean, with all of the expected amenities.
The room was large and the vanity is seperate from the tub and toilet area. This is nice when two people are getting ready.
Check-in was smooth and friendly. Check-out was the same.
They offer a limited breakfast due to the virus.
The facility seems to be well run.

Clean and Updated Rooms!

We stayed 5 days. Hotel got renovated about 1 year ago. Looks good, but hallway smells like chemicals. Room had 2 queen beds, 1 easy chair, 1 desk with chair, free internet, TV, bathroom, microwave and fridge. Maid service came everyday. Breakfast bar was well stocked and clean. Even hotel is located right next to 44 we had a quiet room. Lobby was friendly. Hotel can be recommended and we would stay there again.

Better than Expected. Clean and Comfortable

Nice, well kept property (if on the older side). Super convenient to groceries and local restaurants, and tons of parking. Right off the freeway, and a close jog to the Blue River Cross Country course.
