This Motel looks like a NO.. But wow, I was surprised on how clean and convenient this location was..  Quiet and safe, you can not beat this location if you are in the Clemson area for its price.. Yes, it needs some updating in the kitchenettes in each room. but, it was nice to have for the price. No alarm clock, terrible towels, Free Wifi. HBO. all on 1 level built in to the Hill.

Clean room, close to Clemson. Clerk was friendly and helpful. Overall, comfortable place to stay at a good value. the bed was very comfortable and and great shower. Very nice location. It was a pleasant stay and will stay here again.

Normally I have concerns when I stop at motels run by a member of the AAHA but I was quite surprised at how good the motel grounds and rooms were. The room was cinder block constructed and it was in very good shape. The room was quite clean. The inside walls could be touched up with a little paint. The room could be a little better if the panel to get to the plumbing of the tub would be hidden some how and not in view of the bed..

The tv was an older version but it worked okay. The wifi network was 5 bars and the download bandwidth was good. It would be nice if a breakfast was served but the rate was pretty good even though I was here on a weekend. The rate at this motel was even lower than a motel close by that said that it had the lowest rate in the area. 

The only bad thing was that you had to be buzzed in and out of the office.

Very happy with motel - good value

Nice Stay

Me and my husband decided at the last minute to stay overnight to attend a game at Clemson and we didn’t want to spend the astronomical cost that most surrounding hotels were charging for ONE night, so we made do with Best Way Inn. It met our need, but they can do better and still keep the low cost; I believe it will help them get more business, including myself, and get repeat business. I saw some of the other reviews and apparently they got better rooms than I did AND their posts are 1 year to 3 years old so maybe the MOTEL is aging without repair. To be a MOTEL, it was ok and clean in some ways, but there are some things they can do like new shower curtains and towels as they were dingy and re-caulk/repair the caulk around the tub that allows the rust to be exposed. Paint needed to be neater; you can tell they just painted without lining the space. Some of the furniture was sadly out of date and stained and the top cover on the bed was stained. The sheets and pillows were clean and smelled fresh. Bed was a little hard. The lamps were peeling and we had to fight the door at first because it kept sticking until my hubby gave it a hulk slam and it stopped sticking 😂. The nicer things were the flat screen TV, nice fridge and microwave, air conditioning and WiFi which worked well. The other notes about buzzing in and out of the office is true and it’s surely on a hill, but it’s across from Dienner’s, one of my favorite restaurants! I suggest asking to view the room prior to check-in and maybe they will give you a nicer, cleaner room. 

Met the need, but can do better!

We travel by motorcycle and look for value stays everywhere we go.  This was a great little find!  The room was clean, secure and quiet.  No musty odors, no noise from neighboring rooms and the mattresses were new and soft. The room had a refrigerator and microwave.  I expected to pay more than what it actually cost and would highly recommend for the value-traveler!

Staying here is all about VALUE!

There were roaches on the floor, hair everywhere, and the bed had stains on it. When I told them I wanted my money back, they wouldn’t give it to me. They told me no refunds. I should have called the cops on them! They could barely speak English. I decided to leave and go to the Hampton Inn. It was only 3 min away. Also the room smelled so bad I had to febreeze it.
