Front desk very accommodating. Expedia messed up. Luckily, she had a solution. I was very relieved. Room is clean and cozy. Very Route 66!

The Postcard is a step back in time! The service is just as old fashioned.  The beds were very comfortable The hot water  plentiful!  Our only suggestion would be useable electrical outlets and a few more hooks.

Cute spot for a quick overnight stay along route 66!  Clean and tidy rooms, next to places to grab a bite to eat and drink.   Passcodes sent to email to get into room was nice.   Cons- short shower heads..like fine if your 5'6 and under, unable to inquire about hour early check-ins as office is closed until 3pm at check-in time.  All manageable though.   Was nice.

Best price for the area, smart vintage, comfy and clean, and safe. Up to date locks on the doors and windows. We could park our cars where we could watch them. Well lit, but good black out curtain for the room. Very clean. We came, slept, woke up, brief showers, and left.

This hotel was adorable with 60s/70s vibe.  Clean, private.  Loved it!

This motel is an older -say 1950’s- type place that has been well maintained.  The place was clean and the mattress was superb — as I needed a good night’s sleep! The Lady during checkin was pleasant and efficient.  It’s located in an area with plenty of restaurants and other touristy places - being on historic Route 66!!!!

The room was beautifully updated. The outside of the hotel does look a little sketchy, but do not be fooled by the exterior.     Lots of room. The bed was OK.

Clean  and updated place. Much appreciated after a long day of travel. Would stay again.

It's one of the better options in the area. The place does have a lot of room for improvement. They have tried to update it but it could have better finishes. We just needed a place to sleep before a hike, and it was enough.  I got a text with my room number and code, but needed to check in at the desk anyway, and got 2 different room numbers and the codes didn't work for any of them.

Rt. 66 Keeper !!!

An older motel on Route 66. The owners have updated the place, mostly DIY style, keeping the spartan ketchy style. One thin towel, a tiny bar of soap and an even smaller shampoo was allotted per bed.  The bed was adequate for one night.  The room had a microwave and mini fridge. Our group stayed here one night en route to our Havasupai backpacking trip so we left around 2:30 am. It was perfect for our needs.  The earlier arrivers enjoyed exploring the town with old cars and silly named restaurants. We appreciated the contactless check in.  Expedia messed up our reservation. We booked a room with two beds and they submitted a single bed reservation. This really upset me because we needed both beds and they were small beds to boot, but someone in our group traded so it worked out. Expedia does this a lot. This is the second time this year. I’m going to start booking directly with the hotels from now on.

It was very 1960's but that is what you would expect. The bathroom sink area has been remodeled.  We had problem getting hot water to shower, but it had new faucets, so it might have been our issue.  It is in central area. So lots of dinning choices. We were traveling with dogs and they were accommodating.

Quaint place off old Route 66 in a small town not far from the I-40.  It was a nice place to stop and recharge for the night.  If you’re a princess you probably won’t like it, it was built in the heyday of Route 66 so it’s like an old graceful lady.  It was very comfortably warm room despite what I read from other reviews, the shower water wasn’t very hot is my only mild complaint.

Our room was changed due to unforseen circumstances. When we arrived, the given code didn't work. I called and the phone was answered right away and the issue solved. We were disappointed that this room didn't have nightstands, nor a little table like the other room, but we made it work. The mattress was a little bit firmer than my body likes, but it was fine. I prefer that than a saggy, ultrasoft mattress. We have stayed here several times and have always received excellent service. The staff I have interacted with have been friendly and helpful.

2-night stay

The Postcard Motel was everything we needed for our night before hiking Havasupai. We were able to freeze our gatorades for a treat for the hike in. We didn't hear the train over the air conditioning unit, which we feared would be loud. Check in and checking out was a breeze. The area overall was quiet and within walking distance to things if you had time or would like to. Would highly recommend to Havasupai hikers and others.

Cute decor, friendly management staff. The area has everything needed for a comfortable stay. I stayed on a Saturday and a local bar was having a music night. The music was fairly loud, and after the band was finished, a number of people were enjoying themselves in the alley behind the motel, so having earplugs was helpful. None of this is any fault of the stay, it was a great spot, but if you’re sensitive to noise, I would pack a set just in case. I would stay here again for sure.

The motel is going through renovations, but it wasn't bothersome. The renovated room was comfy. The manager, Shannon, was very nice and helpful. The price was good and the room was sufficient for an overnight stay. I would stay here again. The train runs often during the night, but the only time I heard the train was when I was awake. The sound didn't wake me up.
