I feel this place gets a bit of an unfair rep! The check in process is a bit of a pain as you have to call the owner to come out and let you in which seemed silly. Our room was fine, right across from the beach and was well equipped! the bed was comfy, they don't have air conditioning which seems odd in California but they do have fans which worked for us. We didn't stay there during a weekend so i can imagine we avoided the worst of the noise as the bar was shut by 11pm most nights. The manager gave us beach chairs to use when we asked for them and we found him helpful. I would stay there again as long as it wasn't over a weekend as i think that's where the majority of complaints come from.
