The first thing I realized this was a hotel I would like was when I called to reserve a room,  I got a real person, not a phone tree. I had to change the date and she was more than happy to do this and not turf me off to a website.
While there, the employees were especially kind and helpful, especially Roosevelt Garcia, Director of Guest Experience. All and all, this is my go to hotel in Santa Fe.

Located blocks from downtown square it is a great location.  Don't forget to go down Canyon Drive as we didn't find it until the last day we were there.  So much to see in Santa Fe. My husband loved that the Casino was only a 15 min drive and the grocery store is around the corner.

We had a two bedroom upstairs  condo for a week. Pool and spa are at another property but that is ok. Very friendly and helpful staff. We did not add any extra maid service that is available for a fee. Balcony to drink coffee or watch sunset on. Spacious living area and master. 2nd bedroom is a queen and smaller room. Kitchen is nicely furnished with everything you need. Easy walk to restaurants, museums and plaza. Best breakfast in Santa Fe is just down the street. Work out facility is small but useable. Will definitely return.

This is our first time here and we spent a week in a 2 story two bedroom, 2-1/2 bath villa/townhouse type lodging. We had a full sized kitchen, living room with gas fire place and sofa (sofa bed), love seat, big TV, washer-dryer and our own small courtyard.  There is no swimming pool but a small fitness center above the main entrance/ lobby. The center of Santa Fe, the Plaza,  is about 5 blocks. The El Corazon has various size places. Many would not be accessible because bedrooms and bathrooms/ showers etc are on the second floor. Lovely place! No restaurant onsite.

The facilities and staff were great! It was like home away from home. It made our vacation wonderful. My only slight critique is parking is tight but there was no real impact. Thanks for going above and beyond!

Stayed a few days at a vacation rental here. Initially we had allergies and respiratory problems due to dust from the building next door being demolished but they had the room cleaned and we turned off the air and were fine. Very very nice place to stay, gated complex with parking. Within walking distance of old town Santa Fe.

More than you could ask for . This was our fifth year to Santa Fe . This year we stayed only two short blocks from plaza , we stayed in #12 Barbara was an amazing Host. Cant wait till next year it is better than imagined. Thanks Rick and Vick

We come to SF every year in August for the opera and have been staying at the FHP, EC every year, and while there have been some recent changes (no cookies, change in the operating hours), it is still a very nice place to stay.  I read CAldridge's review and there are some valid points, each of which I questioned while I was there this time.  There is maid service, you have to request it and in our case, we elected not to use it since there are only the two of us and we pick up after ourselves. The fire pit does operate at the reported times--you have to ask for it to be lighted as a safety feature. Yes, there have been some changes, but overall, it is still a top notch place to stay.  There is staff here at the appointed hours.  And they even agreed to open a little early if I wanted to use the exercise room before 0800. I regret their experience, but I don't think you can find a nicer, better location for the price.  And, if you want to spend a lot of money eating in SF, you can certainly do that, or you can use the fully functional kitchen facilities and practice your gourmet cooking skills as we did.  Well done Fairmont.

Used Welk Experiences points for a small 2 bedroom.Traveled with my mom and husband. Stayed in Unit 49 which required 17 steps to get to the living space. Unit tastefully decorated. Balcony next to guest bedroom with queen bed, dresser and side tables.Room seemed small.  Master had king bed and large walk in closet, separate shower and jaccuzi tub. Top notch kitchen amenities with spices.There us outdoor BBQ in the court yard. Wine and cheese reception on Tues. We did not use the exercise room. Its open when staff are present. Housekeeping is by request and there is a charge. The property grounds suprisingly small. No pool. Learned that guest can use pool facilty at Los Posadas hotel but you need to drive there. Also we were told that this amenity will no longer be available after June 28. Parking is tight.Requires code to enter. We were fortunate that there was 1 disabled parking slot outside and used it the entire week.The lot was always full.  Staff is helpful and pleasant. Property is in a quiet location and walking distance to the plaza 1/2 mile for those who are able bodied. We enjoyed the free evening summer concerts in the plaza. Unlike Welk properties (San Diego and Northstar Tahoe) there are no activities for kids within the resort. Still, it is a nice, quiet place to end your day exploring Santa Fe and surrounding areas. We arrived for the Thanksgiving holiday with family and had a two bedroom two story unit in this gated community. We had a lovely fireplace and an outdoor patio. The unit was comfortable with a well stocked kitchen although some of the furnishings were worn. I’m quite sure the sheets in the second bedroom had not been changed before our visit and were very worn out. The ensuite mirror was chipped and broken. With the cold weather and snow, it would have been nice to have a rug or mat by the front door. We had to put several towels down to absorb the melting snow and ice from our boots. We spent five snowy days at the condo, yet the sidewalks were never shoveled and remained icy and slick. They did not have enough parking spaces to accommodate all the guests and we had to park on the street a couple of nights. There is no pool or sauna at this property. I’m not sure how they can advertise those amenities.
