42 reviewsI've seen some bad reviews about this place but i don't think it's all that bad. Granted, the location isn't great in terms of the amount of homeless but if you're going to be in the centre of the city you've got to expect that.There can sometimes be people sat outside of the hotel door which can be intimidating but not once did they say anything to/about me. Stay to yourself and you'll be fine. My room was nice. I had a fridge, microwave and sink in my room which made it easy for me to keep stuff cold or brush my teeth etc. If you aren't bothered about seeing anything in the centre of the city, i would look at a hotel near Fishermans wharf instead because if you want to go there you have to get the bus/uber. However, it cost me $4 to get to pier 33 by Uber so i can't complain about that. It's very easy to get here from the airport as well. It could do with a bit of work but i was only here for four nights so can't say anything bothered me. The shower takes a bit of time for the hot water to kick in but it will get there. I think it's a good place despite the negative reviews, and I'm a solo female traveller so I wanted to feel safe and i did.
