The management was friendly and helpful, the room was kept clean, large refrigerator provided, Wi-Fi was good speed, and good tv if you wanted to watch. I wouldn't recommend walking in order to get downtown, you'll go through some shady neighborhoods and it's a much further walk than Google maps makes it seem. Download the Via Via app and use public transportation. There's bus stops right across the street from the motel to take you downtown, a good priced grocery store/cvs/Walgreens a two minute's drive away, and a Little Caesars a little further than that. Bus fare is $1.20 one way, $1.35 one way with a transfer, or $4 for unlimited all day, we were able to get pretty much anywhere we wanted with no more than 1 transfer. Overall, I was very happy with the motel and staff. Enough that I intend on staying there again next year on another visit.
