Room was clean, service was fast and efficient, fast Wi-Fi, and with the location great to do activities around 5min away any direction. I’ve stayed here multiple times and really enjoy the place. If you looking for a good spot to quick this would be the one. Prices are also really good.

Nice stay and service

I'm not saying they are all the same but don't expect too much from this hotel chain. I stayed in their hotel on watt avenue sacramento and it was the worst experience of my life, ruined my whole holiday. I was a solo traveller from England and I felt so unsafe all week. Certain things I accept were my fault, my room was not cleaned once in 7 days, no new towels no offer of a cleaner to come in, now I could have asked so I wont say too much about that but the standards at this place were awful, I had no data on my phone so was relying on WiFi and that didn't work in my room until the 4th day of my trip also the tv didn't work for my whole stay and as a solo traveller I felt completely alone once back in the room, it was not a nice area and yet no real signs of security around and on the Sunday afternoon I was going to the toilet and bare in mind my door to the toilet did not close so I'm sitting there half naked in full view of the door and a man walked in with a young lady, they both looked at me then walked back out, after I concluded my business I went outside and the man introduced himself as the manager and said the young lady should be in this room but I said sorry but I have this booked for 3 more nights, and with that he just walked away, not even an apology! I've been emailing since my stay trying to get a refund and they finally agreed that I deserved a partial refund but then there were problems everytime I tried to get my refund, they gave me a phone number that doesn't work, sent a cheque that can't be cashed, got me to send details for my PayPal to then tell me they can't refund via PayPal! Awful hotel, dreadful amenities in an unsafe area, terrible staff, and awful treatment from everyone I've had dealings with online since my stay!

Cleaner to pitch a tent on the sidewalk!

I wish I could rate Zero, or negative five. This place is absolutely DISGUSTING!!  Racist, rude, lying, scamming, and definitely NOT following any sort of cleaning procedure at all. When I checked in there was still lipstick and jizz all over the sheets from the last people using the room. The hotel staff totally knew about it because the bed WAS MADE!!! But the sheets hadn’t been changed. The tub leaked, the light fixture looked like it was five seconds from falling off the wall, there were dirty dishes in the drawers, the floors left the bottoms of my feet black after walking on them, and when I asked for more towels, every single one had black smudges and fingerprints all over them, “clean” sheets were the same case. We saw them spraying everything with Clorox bleach spray in the laundry room so I doubt they wash anything properly. There were bedbugs and a huge bloodstain in the middle of the mattress, I SLEPT IN MY CAR EVERY NIGHT!! I checked out one night early because I couldn’t bear to go back another day. I took the front desk up to the room to see what I meant by how deplorable it was— they agreed and originally returned me my $100 deposit. Then five days later after I complained to corporate and wrote several scathing reviews they changed my file to say that I destroyed the room (even tho prior to my complains I had never been told this) and then charged me that $100 deposit. When I called back to ask why, they told me that magically five days after I left they noticed I destroyed the room so they had to charge me, and if I didn’t understand maybe they should tell me in Spanish (because I have an Hispanic last name). This place’s unprofessional front desk staff has yelled at me, hung up on me, and lied to me, and they’ll do the same to you unless you show up with an hourly need and a drug dependency. DO NOT STAY HERE. Sleep in your car, you’ll be happier than I was because you didn’t have to pay almost $500 for it.

RUN AWAY!!!!!!!!

Sex traffic hotel, drugs, loud transients living on premise, dirty filthy, bed sheets had blood, shower was moldy, water doesn't drain, floors were disgusting, on top of they kept charging my card for days after my stay. Had to call headquarters and file a complaint because when confronted by management she hung up on me and said good luck getting refund. STAY AWAY! Will update this review after we see what Red Roof corporation does

PLEASE DONT TRUST MANAGEMENT!

One word: gross.  
It us on an unbelievably noisy road.  All day and all night.  Of course, this is not the hotels fault, but if you are going to try to sleep, you will not.

Very dirty room.  Basically, everything in the room was dirty.  There were stains on the bed spread.  Stains on the window shades an the bedside tables.  And I don't even want to know what the black gunk was that was covering half the bathtub floor.  The room was very dark, so who knows what else was dirty.  

Also, it does get super cold and snow in Sacramento.  There were no extra blankets in the room and the bed spread was very thin.  Sure, there was a "heater" but it was also extremely loud.  

Definitely horrible locale.  Crazy homeless people yelling all night.  At one point, I heard what sounded like a dog fight.  

To top off the miserable experience, the sign on the door to the lobby said "masks required."  That was fine.  Masks are basically required everywhere, so, no problem.  Except, the staff were NOT wearing masks.  Not cool.

First Time at a Red Roof Inn.  Last time at a Red Roof Inn.  The only good thing about this place is that is across the street from a Wendy's restaurant.

Do NOT stay here!

The staff is always pleasant and professional. The security is good and they've always made us feel safe in the parking lot,even late at night. The rooms are clean,the beds are comfortable, and they have smoking rooms. We always stay at Red Roof Inn if possible.

If you like staying at loud dirty motels with sketchy characters lurking around then this might be a paradise for you. If you are norm and you don't like dirty sidewalks and loud junkies then avoid this place.  I used my Red Roof points to stay at this overpriced disgusting Red Roof.  I'd like those points back.   I would turn this place down at any price.  Sleep in your car if you must. I hate to leave a bad review but as a loyal Red Roof customer I feel compelled to let the franchise know that this one needs to either shape up or lose its affiliation.

I'm Embarrassed To Say I Spent The Night Here

First, as someone else mentioned, the noise from Watt Ave is extremely noisy!  Not just traffic but loud motorcycles, booming cars and just lots of traffic almost 24/7.  
My room was dirty, missing a trash can, TV remote, chair, lamp, it had a broken bathroom light fixture and a filthy exterior with lots of trash piled everywhere.  At least the shower worked!
Honestly, it ranks up there with the worst facilities I've stayed at.

Stay anywhere but here

For the price, the room was OK. Smaller room than newer properties, but everything in  it worked and the desk and housekeeping staff were very friendly. The downside was Watt Avenue itself.  It was noisy from the traffic and it seems every room on the property faces the street. But for 1 night my wife and I survived.

That road

The room was clean and decent, but the shower needed cleaning. Besides that it was a nice stay.  I had enough towels and pillows. I had a clean microwave, and mini refrigerator. The TV work and had dish.
