Fantastic place!. Get a lodge in Payne’s Valley. The views up there are absolutely breathtaking!

Big Cedar Lodge has accommodations for any family/group size.  Staff were very friendly and helpful.  They truly try to have entertainment for kids to adults.  Food was delicious at the restaurants that we went to.  You can be as busy or relaxed as you want to be.

We usually come at Christmas but now adding a second annual trip in spring/summer. Love the resort.

Amazing!!! Love this resort.I just wish bathrooms were updatedThey are a bit out dated. Also, the carpet in the room I wish it was some sort of woodOther than that loved it. Would definitely come back.

Very beautiful property, older but well maintained.

Beautiful, even in the winter. Views were gorgeous. Only 1 restaurant open, but it was divine. A little coffee shop was open that had great coffee. Staff was so kind.

Such a beautiful place!   It’s a wonderful place to get away!

The staff is friendly, but not very helpful. Emphasis is put on the mobile ap, rather than personal recommendations, which is a bit disappointing. We didn't want to spend time exploring the ap (which we had already looked at when trying to book) we wanted someone with experience to give suggestions for us to do during our less than 24 hour stay (that didn't happen).Weather cancelled our golf cart tour (not their fault) but there was nothing else anyone would suggest (again, we were directed to the ap) so we went to dinner at the Buzzard Bar. Food was good, service was friendly, and they had live music later in the evening.Welcome basket with popcorn & cookies was too tempting not to try (even though we don't typically eat this stuff) and was delicious!We got a couples massage in the morning, & were both asked about any problem areas, or areas to focus on. We both stated our lower backs were sore and needed attention. The relaxation was nice, but the areas that needed attention got the LEAST amount and if your going to ask, you should definitely try to give more attention to the specified areas! The amenities were great and as with the rest of the resort, it was beautiful!We had breakfast at the Truman Cafe, which was delicious! The coffee was good & the service was friendly!This is a beautiful property & one we hope to visit again when we have more time (but will book activities in advance and not rely on staff for help)

Beautiful property, less than helpful staff

This was our 3rd stay at Jack’s Cabin and it never disappoints us. Something about having the whole mountain to yourself at night. Everything is always taking care of before you arrive and everyone is so helpful. A view like nothing else as if being steps from the green of hole number isn’t enough the view of Table Rock Lake is amazing. Everything lit up at night is wonderful. There is construction that has been going on for a few years adding an attraction but it’s quite in the late afternoon.

We loved our stay in Big Cedar's Glamping unit this weekend. It was peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed using the Long Creek pool and hot tub area The outdoor bathtub and fire pit area was absolutely incredible. The only thing that would have made it better would be adults-only areas. When you finally get away from your kids for the weekend, you don't really want to hear someone else's screaming and crying.  An adults-only pool would be amazing! The "tent" was amazing and so comfortable. The only reason I didn't give a full five stars was because the zippers on ours were broken. and you couldn't close it up very well. All in all we loved our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to get away for a romantic weekend.

Ours was an anniversary visit to Big Cedar Lodge.  It was our first visit and did not know what to expect.  The setting of the lodge was spectacular.  If one is up to a good stretch of the legs, activities and restaurants are walkable. The Top of the Rock was fantastic, do take the car, it is a short beautiful drive.  The room was clean, well supplied.  Every staff member, we encountered, was friendly and helpful. Our next visit will be even better than our first.

Worth the Stay!

What a fabulous spot! As a family of 5, we had more than enough room (family room, kitchen, balcony, 2 bedrooms & 2 baths)to spread out & really enjoy our stay!! BCL is beautiful & a true treasure, away from the hustle & tourist trap, aka Branson. Thank you for sharing your spot with us, we will be back!!

Fabulous Getaway!

An excellent experience.  We arrived tired and late with a horse trailer (empty).  They had special parking for our trailer and great shuttle service.  Security escorted us to our parking spot (with the trailer) and they were wonderful!  The accommodations were fantastic!  Although we were only scheduled for one night, we will be making this a vacation destination in the near future.  Very impressed!

Beautiful, Cozy, & Accommodating!

We loved almost everything about our stay, including the details of the decor, the cleanliness, complementary snacks and drinks, friendly And helpful staff, activities, restaurants. We loved the 5K trail even in January! Such a beautiful place! If we had to say anything negative it would be limited, our only dislike would be that the lights in our cottage didn’t seem bright enough even when we had them turned up. It is expensive to stay, but worth every penny.

The property was really nice.  We loved the shuttle service.  However, to get a 5 star rating from us you would need to, at minimum, supply guests with hot coffee in the lobby of each lodge in the mornings.
