I just returned home two days ago from a long trip. One of my stops was the Newport Marriott Hotel and Spa. This is a great hotel with the best staff and a fantastic location. They all work so very hard and it shows. The highlight of our trip was getting some help from the Concierge, Meredith Reid. She is without a doubt the absolute best concierge I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. She was able to not only recommend but get same day reservations for us at two great restaurants and they did not disappoint. She told us where to get dessert (Kilwin's) and what houses we should really try to see along the Cliff Walks. She was right about everything she recommended. She told us to go to the Wild Horse Saloon as soon as they open, so we did, sat at the bar and toasted her brilliance. She knows so much about Newport and I think she knows everyone in town. She always remembered our names and wanted to know how we enjoyed everything. She is a people person and we were feeling the love. Thank you Meredith for being you. You absolutely helped us make the most of our time, while we were there. Until next time, Connie and Julie (two gals married to brothers).
