The room was very clean and appeared to have been fairly recently redone. In room ice maker was super convenient. Large walk-in shower was very nice. Because it's off-season, the office isn't staffed but there's phone coverage in the event of any questions.

Room was exceptionally clean!!Bed was very comfortable and the price was just right for a one night stay on our way to Block Island! Highly recommend!!

Contactless check in, just called when we got there.  Rooms are small but very tidy and comfortable. Keurig and individual ice maker in the room. My room had a very roomy shower,  no tub,  so very easy to get in and out of.

The location was easy to find and extremely close to the venue I was attendinging.  Loved the self check-in.  Clean, well stocked room.  Definitely will make time to go back.

Everything was great about this place. Easy check-in easy check out. rooms were cleaned both days. Hope to be able to stay there again.

The property had a lot of things to do, i.e. grill, swimming, sitting around the firepit, badmitton, etc. Rooms were clean and modern.

First time on my 3-month roadtrip that I stayed at such a small hotel. Not surprising, but my unit was a little small compared to what I'm used to. However, it was very clean, appointed very well and seemed recently updated. Although I didn't have any further need to speak with anyone after checking in on the phone, some might feel the need for having an agent on the property.

Phil & Anns Sunset Motel was the perfect place for us to stay while enjoying the Rhythm & Roots music festival in Charlestown, RI.    The room had everything we needed, and was very clean and comfortable.  The outdoor games were just what we needed for fun!  Badminton, Shuffleboard, the warm swimming pool, a cozy outdoor patio to enjoy morning coffee.  We will definitely be back!

Fun stay at Phil & Anns Sunset Motel

Absolutely no complaints. Everything was very clean. We weren't on a vacation. So we had just wanted we needed. Our only slight disappointment was that our beds weren't fixed when we left for the day. We thought maybe because we left them to neat? The kindly hostess recommended The Cove restaurant right down the street. Thank you! The service was great. The food was excellent. We went there twice. It was surprisingly quiet too. We couldn't hear anything from the other rooms...like water running,etc. Like I said in the beginning: no complaints. We were very pleased with the whole experience.

Phil & Anns Sunset motel was the perfect little getaway for us! Check in was very easy and convenient. The room was spotlessly clean and provided everything we needed, such as a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Easy access to many local attractions such as beaches, restaurants, etc. We would love to return for another visit!

Simple, clean, convenient accommodations

The motel is nice enough for a couple of nights but I can't say I would want to stay longer than that.  You can hear the highway (route 1 A) from your room as well as neighboring motel neighbors (talking, flushing toilets, etc.).  The maid service is awesome!  Many hotels/motels currently don't provide maid service if you're only staying 2 nights but this one does!  What's odd is the manager of the motel was not around when we arrived (at check in time). I had to call a phone number to check into the motel which was a little annoying.  When I spoke to the manager, he gave me the room number and said the room was unlocked with the key placed on the table inside which was odd since the motel had a keypad on the outside door.  We always lock the door when we leave to go out during the day.  This time when we came back to the motel we found that the maid service had left our motel door unlocked (this had all of our stuff inside so it was weird to see they didn't lock the door).  The cost of the motel is not cheap but it is in a location where you can get to beaches rather quickly so it's understandable.  The room we were in looked like they had renovated it within the last couple of years, however, the mattresses definitely need replacing as they were uncomfortable to sleep on.  There are things the owners of the motel could do better but ultimately this motel met our needs for the time we were there.

Simple motel. The place was extremely clean and in very good condition. There is a great yard for playing sports with the kids, cornhole, basketball, volleyball, small but nice swimming pool. Housekeeping was on top of everything.Only drawback was that you can hear noise from room next door, but wasn’t a big deal.Would stay again.

Nice clean place

The property was very nice. A little more noise than i would have liked after 10 p.m. when we were trying to sleep. People staying at the motel I assume.
